Jakartaweekly.com — Jakarta. PT Astra International Tbk (Astra) has approved a total cash dividend of Rp15.7 trillion during its 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held on Thursday (April 23).
The dividend distribution is part of the company’s allocation of its consolidated net profit for the 2025 financial year, which reached Rp32.76 trillion. Astra declared a dividend of Rp390 per share, including an interim dividend of Rp98 per share that was paid in October 2025.
The remaining Rp292 per share will be distributed on May 25, 2026, to shareholders listed in the company’s shareholder register as of May 6, 2026.
The final dividend payout may vary depending on the number of shares eligible for dividends, particularly as Astra continues its ongoing share buyback program.
The company will retain at least Rp17.09 trillion as retained earnings to support future business development.
During the AGM, shareholders also approved the company’s 2025 annual report, including the consolidated financial statements audited by KAP Rintis, Jumadi, Rianto & Rekan, which received an unqualified opinion. With this approval, all members of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors were granted full release and discharge (acquit et decharge) for their supervisory and management actions during the 2025 financial year.
The meeting also confirmed changes to Astra’s leadership structure. Rudy was appointed as President Director, while Prijono Sugiarto was named President Commissioner.
Independent Commissioners include Sri Indrastuti Hadiputranto, Muliaman Darmansyah Hadad, Muhamad Chatib Basri, and Pariya Tangtongpairoth.
Meanwhile, Astra’s Board of Directors includes Gidion Hasan, Santosa, Gita Tiffani Boer, and Djap Tet Fa, among others. The newly appointed board members will serve until the 2029 AGM, with several commissioners holding terms until 2028.
In addition, shareholders approved a total monthly honorarium for the Board of Commissioners of up to Rp2.16 billion and authorized the board to determine the remuneration for the Board of Directors.
The AGM also reappointed KAP Rintis, Jumadi, Rianto & Rekan, a member firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, as the company’s external auditor for the 2026 financial year.
President Director Rudy expressed appreciation to all stakeholders for their continued support.
