JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com — BMW Indonesia has launched three new additions to its high-performance BMW M lineup: the New BMW M3 Touring, the New BMW M2, and the New BMW M2 CS. The three models were officially unveiled in Jakarta on Thursday (June 25, 2026), with prices starting at more than Rp1 billion off the road.
The most affordable model among the new launches is the New BMW M2, priced at Rp1.977 billion for 2025 model-year units and Rp1.987 billion for 2026 model-year units. Meanwhile, the New BMW M2 CS, the most powerful variant in the lineup, is offered at Rp2.7 billion.
The New BMW M3 Touring is priced at Rp2.777 billion for 2025 model-year units and Rp2.79 billion for 2026 model-year units.
Peter “Sunny” Medalla, President Director of BMW Group Indonesia, said the launch of the three models reflects the growing demand for high-performance vehicles in the Indonesian market.
“BMW M achieved another all-time global sales record last year, marking the 14th consecutive year of sales growth worldwide. We are seeing the same trend in Indonesia,” Sunny said in Jakarta on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
According to him, each of the three newly launched models offers a distinct character while sharing the same BMW M DNA.
The BMW M3 Competition Touring M xDrive combines high performance with the practicality of a Touring vehicle. It is powered by a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder M TwinPower Turbo engine producing 530 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.
Paired with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. Its luggage capacity reaches 500 liters and can be expanded to 1,510 liters.
Meanwhile, the New BMW M2 arrives as a compact sports coupé equipped with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine delivering 480 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. The rear-wheel-drive sports car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds.
BMW is also offering several new exterior color options for the M2, including Sao Paulo Yellow, Fire Red, Skyscraper Grey, and Portimao Blue.
At the top of the new BMW M lineup sits the New BMW M2 CS, producing 530 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque, representing increases of 50 horsepower and 50 Nm over the standard M2.
The vehicle utilizes various Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) components to reduce weight by approximately 30 kilograms. As a result, the M2 CS accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 302 km/h.
Earlier this year, the BMW M2 CS also recorded a lap time of 7 minutes 25.5 seconds at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, setting a new benchmark in the compact high-performance sports car segment.
