JAECOO Opens Largest South Jakarta Dealership, Targets 80 by End-2026

JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com—JAECOO Indonesia has expanded its sales network by opening a new dealership in Pondok Pinang, South Jakarta. Operated by PT Megatama Elektra Mandiri, the facility is JAECOO’s 12th dealership in Jakarta and the company’s 36th operational dealership across Indonesia.

The JAECOO Megatama Pondok Pinang dealership occupies a 3,689-square-meter site and features a complete 3S facility, offering Sales, Service, and Spare Parts. It is equipped with 18 service bays capable of handling up to 54 vehicles per day.

JAECOO Indonesia Business Unit Director Jim Ma said the new dealership is part of the company’s strategy to expand its service network while enhancing the overall customer experience.

“When customers visit us, we want them to feel like they are entering an experience zone. They will be able to explore JAECOO’s products and experience the advantages of our technology firsthand,” Jim said in Jakarta on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

He noted that market response to JAECOO’s products in Indonesia has remained positive. Expanding the dealership network, he said, is a key step in strengthening the company’s business foundation while providing better services to customers.

In line with its “Play Loud, Shine Proud” campaign, JAECOO offers a lineup of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), including the JAECOO J5 EV, J7 SHS-P, and J8 SHS-P ARDIS, which combine energy efficiency with high performance.

Jim also revealed that, based on data from Gaikindo for May 2026, the JAECOO J5 remained Indonesia’s best-selling electric vehicle. In addition, JAECOO ranked among the country’s top five automotive brands by sales.

“According to Gaikindo’s May 2026 data, the JAECOO J5 continues to be the No. 1 EV in Indonesia. JAECOO has also entered the top five automotive brands by sales in the country. JAECOO Megatama Director Hendra Aristyo said the new dealership is expected to make it easier for customers in South Jakarta and surrounding areas to access JAECOO’s products and after-sales services.

The JAECOO Megatama Pondok Pinang dealership is located at 80 Ciputat Raya Street, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, and operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (WIB).

JAECOO currently operates 36 dealerships across Indonesia and aims to expand its nationwide network to 80 dealerships by the end of 2026.
