Jakarta Seeks Rp1,064 Trillion to Fund Its Global City Vision
Jakarta will require around Rp1,064 trillion (approximately US$65 billion) in development funding over the next five years to support its ambition of becoming a top global city. Governor Pramono Anung said the city is expanding its financing strategy beyond the regional budget by tapping municipal bonds, public-private partnerships, climate finance, and private investment while maintaining fiscal transparency.
