JAKARTA — Jakartaweekly.com. Canon has introduced its new imagePROGRAF TM Series in Indonesia, offering large-format printing solutions for professionals who work with computer-aided design (CAD) drawings, blueprints, maps, posters and other visual materials.
PT Datascrip, Canon’s authorised distributor in Indonesia, is bringing four models to the local market: two printers, the Canon imagePROGRAF TM-5510 and TM-5610, and two multifunction devices, the TM-5510M and TM-5610M, which combine printing, scanning and copying.
The new series is designed for professional environments, including engineering firms, architecture practices and construction companies, where large-format documents need clear details and efficient handling.
“As large-format printing needs become more diverse, devices must offer both quality and flexibility. The Canon imagePROGRAF TM Series delivers detailed print quality, alongside multifunction models that combine printing, scanning and copying in one device,” said Marcellinus Lirus, Assistant Marketing Manager of Canon Business Unit at PT Datascrip.
The TM-5510 supports media up to 24 inches wide, while the TM-5610 accommodates formats up to 36 inches. Both models are designed to produce CAD drawings, blueprints, maps, posters, photographs and other visual materials.
The printers use five-colour LUCIA TD pigment ink, including matte black ink, to produce sharper lines and clearer text. Canon’s L-COA PRO II Image Processing Engine is designed to support high-speed data processing and printing.
Both models feature a flat-top design, with roll-paper replacement and supporting components accessible from the front. The layout leaves the top surface unobstructed, allowing more flexibility when positioning the equipment in a workspace.
The printers also support borderless printing, enabling users to produce visual materials without white margins around the edges.
For businesses that regularly process large-format documents, the TM-5510M and TM-5610M combine printing, scanning and copying in one device. The TM-5510M supports 24-inch media, while the TM-5610M handles formats up to 36 inches.
Both models feature built-in large-format scanners for digitising and copying oversized documents. The scanning technology is designed to preserve the clarity of lines and text, including when documents have folds or wrinkles, while reducing shadows caused by creases.
The TM-5610M also features a five-inch colour TFT LCD touchscreen and preset scanning modes for different document types, including CAD drawings, blueprints and maps. Users can place large documents directly on the scanner located on top of the device.
The four models give businesses a choice between dedicated large-format printing and multifunction equipment, depending on their document production and processing requirements.
Canon and Datascrip introduced the new series at ALLPRINT Indonesia 2026, held from October 7 to 10 at JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta. Visitors can see the equipment at the Canon-Datascrip booth during the exhibition.

The lineup offers options for businesses that need detailed large-format output, as well as those seeking to combine printing, scanning and copying in a single workflow.
