The operational adjustment affects Bogor Commuter Line services along the Jakarta Kota-Manggarai route. Some services are temporarily terminating at Jayakarta Station and Manggarai Station before returning to Bogor.
Leza Arlan, Manager of Public Relations at PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI), said the operational adjustment was part of efforts to address the disruption caused by the derailment of Commuter Line No. 1203 as it was about to enter Track 9 at Jakarta Kota Station.
“To minimize delays, KAI Commuter has also adjusted the operating pattern of Bogor Commuter Line services, with some trains terminating at Jayakarta Station and Manggarai Station before returning to Bogor,” Leza said in a statement on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026.
Meanwhile, Commuter Line passengers at Jakarta Kota Station traveling to Bogor are temporarily being served via Tracks 10 and 11 while the disruption is being handled.
KAI Commuter said Commuter Line services scheduled to enter Jakarta Kota Station were experiencing delays as a result of the disruption. Relevant personnel and a rescue train have been dispatched to the site to handle the incident.
As of 8:44 a.m. Jakarta time, KAI Commuter was still implementing the operational adjustment to minimize the impact of the disruption on passenger services.
