JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com — PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has designated part of the parking area at Halim Station as a premium zone with a special tariff of Rp100,000, while regular parking rates remain unchanged.

KCIC Manager of Corporate Communication Emir Monti explained that of the approximately 600 parking lots available at Halim Station, around 60 lots, or about 10 percent, have been allocated as premium parking spaces.

“Of the 600 parking lots we provide at Halim, around 60 lots, or 10 percent, are designated as premium parking areas,” Emir told Jakartaweekly.com on Thursday, May 8, 2026.

According to him, the premium parking area is located in the East Parking 1 zone, which has been designated as a special area with a different tariff from regular parking.

Meanwhile, regular parking rates at Halim Station remain Rp5,000 for the first hour and Rp4,000 for each subsequent hour.

“For regular parking, the tariff remains unchanged at Rp5,000 for the first hour and Rp4,000 for each following hour,” he said.

KCIC emphasized that regular parking capacity remains highly sufficient for the majority of users, with around 540 lots still available and offering comparable service.

“In general, regular parking at Halim Station remains widely available and sufficient, with around 540 lots, while providing service that is just as good as premium parking,” Emir added.

He noted that the primary difference between premium and regular parking lies in the specifically allocated parking location, rather than the quality of basic service.

The policy is expected to provide more diverse parking service options for Whoosh high-speed rail passengers based on their individual needs and preferences.
