JAKARTA, JakartaWeekly.com — StartMoments Jakarta 2026 is bringing together 130 artists and 68 exhibitors for its inaugural edition, taking place from November 5 to 8, 2026, at Ciputra World 2 Jakarta, South Jakarta. The event brings art, fashion, food and beverages, design, and lifestyle together on a single platform.

Sendy Widjaja, Founder and Fair Director of ArtMoments Jakarta, said StartMoments provides a broader platform for artists, illustrators, designers, and independent brands to introduce their work to the public while creating opportunities for collaboration and business development.

“We want to bring art closer to everyday life while creating opportunities for creators to build connections, collaborate, and develop their business potential,” Sendy said in Jakarta on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

As part of the ArtMoments ecosystem, StartMoments adopts a multidisciplinary approach to broaden the art experience. The platform encompasses art, fashion, food and beverages, design, and lifestyle, while providing creative industry players with opportunities to reach markets beyond conventional art exhibitions.

One of its featured programs is Urban Moments, a curated creative marketplace that brings together artists, illustrators, designers, and independent creative entrepreneurs. Guided by the spirit of Art. Design. Culture. Commerce., the program showcases original illustrations, art prints, fashion, accessories, and art-inspired merchandise. Visitors also have the opportunity to meet creators in person and learn the stories behind their work.

Urban Moments is integrated with The Workplace Art Fair concept, which uses meeting rooms and lounge areas within Ciputra World 2 Jakarta’s modern office environment to showcase artworks and creative products. Through this approach, conventional office spaces are also transformed into places for creative expression, exchanging ideas, and discovering new works.

For its inaugural edition, StartMoments Jakarta 2026 adopts the theme “Faith”, exploring belief in the future, human connections, creativity, and new possibilities. The theme reflects the creative process through which an idea develops into a work of art and a shared experience, while bringing together diverse perspectives through art.

One of the programs reflecting this theme is Beliefs & Matter, a special exhibition that provides artists with an opportunity to showcase their work. Following a curation process, 14 artists from various cities across Indonesia have been selected to present visual artworks representing their ideas, concepts, and personal beliefs.

Other programs include Makers Moments, a series of workshops that allows visitors to experience the creative process firsthand, and Converse Moments, which features discussions and panel sessions on art and the creative industry.

StartMoments also presents Wearable Art & Collectible Art Merchandise, exploring art through fashion, accessories, and collectible products designed to become part of everyday life.

Meanwhile, The Work Space Art Fair showcases artworks in functional office spaces on the 51st and 52nd floors of Ciputra World 2 Jakarta. The program demonstrates how artworks can enhance office interiors and the workplace experience.

The visitor experience is further complemented by Ambience Music and Opening Night, featuring art performances, ceremonial proceedings, DJ performances, and karaoke.

William H. Ciputra, General Manager of Ciputra Group, said the group’s support for StartMoments reflects its commitment to expanding younger generations’ access to art through an approach that resonates with their lifestyles.

“We believe that art should be closer to everyday life and accessible to all generations. Through our support for StartMoments, we aim to provide younger generations with greater access to discovering and appreciating art through an approach that is relevant to their lifestyles,” he said.

He added that the initiative also aligns with the presence of The Newton 2 within the Ciputra World 2 Jakarta complex. The development offers modern, comfortable, and exclusive residences for urban professionals in Jakarta’s Golden Triangle business district. He hopes both initiatives will contribute to an urban lifestyle ecosystem that prioritizes quality of life, creativity, and appreciation for the arts.

BCA is also supporting StartMoments Jakarta 2026 by offering cashback of Rp250,000 on transactions of at least Rp1 million. The promotion is available for the first 200 transactions during the event period, with a maximum combination of two receipts and no multiple redemptions allowed. Visitors can also take advantage of 0% installment plans for up to 12 months.

Rita Christiana, Senior Vice President of BCA, said the bank’s support aims to broaden public access to art and creativity.

“We believe a strong creative ecosystem requires support and open access for people from all backgrounds. Through our support for StartMoments Jakarta 2026, we hope to help broaden public access to art and creativity while encouraging more generations to discover, appreciate, and participate in the development of the creative industry,” Rita said.

ISMAYA is also supporting the event by providing food and beverage (F&B) offerings and entertainment, including a series of early office parties throughout the event.
