Audi to Unveil New Premium SUV at GIIAS 2026

JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com — Audi Indonesia will unveil a new model at the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), expanding its premium SUV lineup in Indonesia while further strengthening the Audi Q Series portfolio.

Edo Januarko Chandra, Chief Operating Officer of Audi Indonesia, said the launch continues the company’s strategy of introducing a diverse range of models with distinct characteristics throughout the year.

“Over the past few months, we have introduced several models, each with a very distinctive character. However, Audi’s journey this year is far from over. At GIIAS 2026, we will unveil a model that marks another important milestone for Audi in Indonesia while further completing the Audi Q family,” Edo said in Jakarta on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Audi has yet to reveal the identity or specifications of the upcoming model. However, Edo said the company has begun dropping hints through Audi Indonesia’s official social media channels.

The teasers include the silhouette of an Audi Q model, dramatic lighting effects, and the tagline “Refined in Motion.” Despite the previews, he said the company has chosen to keep further details under wraps until the official launch.

“Some clues may already have appeared on Audi Indonesia’s social media channels. For now, we prefer to keep the details confidential. However, we believe this latest addition will further complete the Audi Q family in Indonesia,” he said.

Full details of the new model will be announced during the opening of GIIAS 2026. Audi Indonesia has also invited customers, media representatives, and Audi enthusiasts to follow the latest updates through its official communication channels.

According to Edo, the launch underscores Audi’s commitment to strengthening its premium SUV portfolio in Indonesia amid intensifying competition in the premium vehicle segment.

Throughout the year, Audi Indonesia has introduced a series of models that showcase different aspects of the brand’s identity.

The Audi S3 highlights the brand’s signature progressive performance, the Audi S3 Verve Edition offers a more personalized expression of the S3 with its distinctive District Green exterior, while the New Audi Q5 Sportback expands Audi’s interpretation of the premium SUV through a bolder and more emotional design.

Edo said the three models demonstrate how Audi continues to broaden its product portfolio with distinct personalities while remaining rooted in the same brand philosophy.
