JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com—Finding a parking space, waiting in long queues at parking entrances, and maneuvering in tight parking areas remain common challenges for urban drivers. These issues have prompted the automotive industry to develop intelligent parking technologies aimed at making the parking process more practical and efficient.

JAECOO Indonesia is among the automakers introducing such a solution through its Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP) technology. Designed around the concept of “Come to You, Park for You,” the feature enables a vehicle to park itself automatically, eliminating much of the hassle associated with searching for and parking a car.

Mohamad Ilham Pratama, Head of Marketing at JAECOO Indonesia, said the innovation was developed to address the evolving mobility needs of modern society, particularly in major cities where vehicle density continues to increase.

“JAECOO presents Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP), an intelligent driving technology designed to provide a more convenient and efficient parking experience,” he said in Jakarta recently.

According to Ilham, the automotive industry’s focus has expanded beyond vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and driving safety. Automakers are now introducing technologies that solve everyday mobility challenges, including those encountered while parking.

The trend is also in line with the global advancement of intelligent parking systems. According to a Fortune Business Insights report, these technologies integrate sensors, cameras, and digital navigation to optimize parking space utilization.

Such systems are expected to reduce the time spent searching for parking by 45–55 percent, while also improving traffic flow within parking facilities.

Ilham added that visitors will be able to experience the Super Intelligent Valet Parking technology firsthand when JAECOO participates in the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026.
