Hyundai to Showcase Indonesia-Built 7-Seater EV Prototype and IONIQ 3 at GIIAS 2026

JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com—PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) will showcase a seven-seater electric vehicle (EV) prototype that will be manufactured in Indonesia, along with the IONIQ 3, at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. The company will also debut a new model during the exhibition.

According to information obtained by Jakartaweekly.com, the seven-seater EV prototype will be displayed exclusively on July 29–30, 2026, at Hyundai’s booth in Hall 2C of ICE BSD City.

After the exclusive display ends, visitors attending GIIAS from July 30 to August 9, 2026, will still be able to see the IONIQ 3 and Hyundai’s other vehicle lineup.

In addition to unveiling new vehicles, Hyundai said it will use GIIAS 2026 to introduce its latest safety and connectivity technologies, including Hyundai SmartSense and Hyundai Bluelink.

Visitors will be able to explore both technologies at the exhibition booth and experience them firsthand through test-drive sessions.

Hyundai will also display a broad lineup covering internal combustion engine (ICE), hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), and battery electric vehicle (EV) powertrains across the MPV and SUV segments. Confirmed models include the Stargazer, Staria, Palisade, Creta, and Santa FE, alongside several new models set to be launched during the exhibition.

On the aftersales front, Hyundai will showcase its myHyundaiCare ecosystem, which offers a range of services designed to support vehicle ownership.

Among the featured services is Roadside Assistance, which provides emergency support such as towing, battery jump-starts, tire replacement, fuel delivery, and vehicle diagnostics. Hyundai will also offer an Extended Warranty as an additional protection option for customers.

Hyundai’s booth will also feature a variety of interactive activities, including automotive- and football-themed games, technology demonstrations, and special guest appearances on weekends.

During GIIAS 2026, Hyundai plans to roll out a range of sales programs and exclusive promotional offers. Details of these promotions will be announced ahead of the exhibition’s opening.

Ahead of GIIAS, Hyundai is already offering promotional programs for purchases of the STARGAZER Cartenz and STARGAZER Cartenz X throughout July 2026.

Customers can receive benefits worth up to Rp50 million, along with financing options that include monthly installments starting from Rp3 million for three years or a one-year installment deferment program. Hyundai is also offering trade-in incentives of up to Rp20 million for customers who exchange their existing vehicles for a new Hyundai model.
