BMW Group Festival of JOY: Celebrating 25 Years of Innovation in Indonesia

Held at the JIExpo Grand Ballroom from April 17–19, 2026, the event reaffirms the brand’s commitment to providing a holistic premium experience while commemorating BMW Group’s 110-year global heritage of “Sheer Driving Pleasure.”

A Three-Day Immersive Experience

The festival is designed to be more than just a car show; it is an interactive journey. Visitors can explore and test drive nearly 80 of the latest BMW and MINI units, including the BMW & MINI Premium Selection, alongside 14 units from BMW Motorrad.

The opening press conference featured the BMW Group Indonesia management team, including President Director Peter “Sunny” Medalla and Director of Communications Jodie O’tania.

In a nostalgic highlight, legendary Indonesian rock musician Ikang Fawzi made a special appearance. Known for the iconic Catatan Si Boy soundtrack, Ikang’s presence served as a tribute to the BMW 3 Series, which became a cultural symbol of aspiration in Indonesia during the film’s era. This connection emphasizes BMW’s long-standing role in the Indonesian lifestyle across generations.
