JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com—A total of 339 companies from Indonesia and overseas will participate in the inaugural Automechanika Jakarta (AMJKT) 2026, which will be held at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) PIK 2 in Tangerang, Banten, from Sept. 24 to 27, 2026.

The exhibition, which focuses on the automotive components and services industry, will occupy a 20,800-square-meter exhibition area comprising four indoor halls and an outdoor area for various activities.

Messe Frankfurt HK General Manager Fiona Chiew said Automechanika Jakarta is part of the Automechanika exhibition network, which has been held in automotive markets around the world.

“Indonesia is the 15th country to host Automechanika,” Fiona said at the AMJKT 2026 Media Briefing in Jakarta on Friday (Sept. 18, 2026).

She said the inaugural Automechanika Jakarta is aimed at providing global automotive component industry players with access to the Indonesian market while connecting local industry players with international partners.

The exhibition will bring together manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, aftermarket players and other automotive industry stakeholders through product showcases, business matching and various supporting programs.

Fiona said the event will also feature a Supply Chain Collaboration Forum, which will discuss Indonesia’s Domestic Component Level (TKDN) policy, electric vehicle (EV) production and supply chain integration.

In addition, Automechanika Jakarta will host a Tech & Skills Workshop offering theoretical and hands-on training for automotive technicians. The training will cover efficiency, sustainability, service quality and safety aspects related to servicing electric vehicles.

One of the key exhibitors at the event is Astra Otoparts Group. The automotive component company will bring 25 companies under a single booth area to showcase its integrated business ecosystem.

Astra Otoparts President Director and Chairman of the Indonesian Automotive Parts and Components Association (GIAMM) Yusak Kristian said the company’s participation in Automechanika Jakarta is expected to expand business connections with industry players from Indonesia and overseas.

“We hope Astra Otoparts’ participation in Automechanika Jakarta will provide an opportunity to expand our network and engage with more industry players, both from Indonesia and internationally,” Yusak said.

He said Astra Otoparts also sees opportunities to develop businesses with OEMs, distributors, suppliers and aftermarket players from Indonesia and global markets.

The 25 companies brought by Astra Otoparts will showcase a range of products, including engine components, braking systems, suspension systems, bearings, batteries, tires, wheels and condensers, as well as OEM and aftermarket components.

The brands on display will include Aspira, GS Astra, KYB, Pirelli, Federal, FIM Piston, Akebono, Incoe, Aspira Premio, Aspira Exposio and Ulti X.

Automechanika Jakarta 2026 marks the first Automechanika exhibition to be held in Indonesia. The exhibition has previously been held in several Asian markets, including Shanghai, China; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
