JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com — PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) is leveraging international collaboration as a strategy to strengthen Whoosh’s global positioning, one of which is through the Travel Switzerland Exhibition at Halim Station, Jakarta.
President Director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi said the exhibition serves as a momentum to expand Whoosh’s international exposure while reinforcing its position as a world-class transportation service.
“Through this collaboration, we aim to introduce Whoosh to a broader audience, while also inspiring passengers and strengthening our commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable, and integrated travel,” he said in a press statement on Friday, April 24, 2026.
According to him, the presence of the exhibition at Halim Station also highlights Whoosh’s role not only as a mobility service, but as a platform for cross-border collaboration, particularly through its connection with the Grand Train Tour of Switzerland as a global icon of rail travel.
The exhibition, running from April 24 to May 24, 2026, is a collaboration between Switzerland Tourism, Swiss Travel System AG, the Embassy of Switzerland, and KCIC. It also marks the 10th anniversary of the Grand Train Tour of Switzerland and the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Switzerland.
Held at one of Indonesia’s major transport hubs, the exhibition invites visitors to explore Switzerland through one of its most iconic travel experiences. The Grand Train Tour of Switzerland combines panoramic train journeys across the country into a spectacular 1,280-kilometer route, taking travelers through charming cities, Alpine villages, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and various renowned Swiss landmarks.
Through its collaboration with KCIC, visitors at Whoosh Halim Station can experience an introduction to rail travel in Switzerland and learn more about the Grand Train Tour of Switzerland, its routes, and the integrated public transportation system that makes travel across the country seamless and reliable.
