FOMBEX 2026 Opens in Bandung for Young Families

Opening Ceremony Fombex Bandung 2026 (Debindo)

Bandung, May 7, 2026 – The Forever Mom & Baby Expo (FOMBEX) Bandung 2026 has officially opened its doors, running from May 7 to May 10, 2026, at the Sudirman Grand Ballroom. Organized by PT Debindo Global Expo, the event aims to serve as an interactive, all-in-one ecosystem connecting brands, communities, and families.

Indonesia’s mom and baby industry has seen significant growth in recent years, driven by a rising awareness of child development, health, and quality parenting products. With its rapid growth of young families and dynamic urban lifestyle, Bandung was chosen as a strategic market for this comprehensive expo.

FOMBEX 2026 is designed to accommodate both Business-to-Customer (B2C) and Business-to-Business (B2B) segments, featuring dozens of local and national brands. Visitors can find a wide array of products and services, from baby gear and nutrition to kids’ fashion, family education, and healthcare.

A major highlight of this year’s event is the direct involvement of renowned local hospitals. Melinda Hospital is offering free ultrasound (USG) scans for pregnant women throughout the exhibition, while RS Harapan Bunda Bandung is providing child health consultations. Dr. Ancilla Linna Limmena, Director of Melinda Hospital, stated that this collaboration aims to raise public awareness about the importance of routine health check-ups for pregnant mothers.

Beyond shopping, FOMBEX offers a variety of educational and interactive programs. Over the four-day event, families can enjoy parenting talk shows, workshops, children’s competitions, and interactive play sessions. Notable activities include “Maincamacama Playtime” organized by the Maincamacama Community, and a talk show by Hoofla discussing the transformation of parental roles.

During the opening ceremony, Rafidi Iqra Muhammad, Director of PT Debindo Global Expo, emphasized that FOMBEX is not just a product showcase but a space for interaction, education, and collaboration that provides real benefits to Indonesian families.

The opening event was also attended by key community and health figures, including dr. Romauli Parapat (Director of RSKIA Harapan Bunda Bandung), Fitri Nurzahwa (Co-Founder of Anakata Early Learning), Yuke Sartikadewi (Founder of Kumpul Bocah), and Indriani Najla Khairunnisa (Founder of Maincamacama).
