JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com — Private fuel station operators BP-AKR and Vivo have also raised the prices of their RON 92 and RON 95 gasoline products following Pertamina’s adjustment of Pertamax and Pertamax Green fuel prices.

Effective June 10, 2026, Pertamina increased the price of Pertamax (RON 92) from Rp12,300 per liter to Rp16,250 per liter, a rise of Rp3,950 per liter. Meanwhile, Pertamax Green (RON 95) climbed from Rp12,900 to Rp17,000 per liter, an increase of Rp4,100 per liter.

The price adjustments were also followed by private fuel station operators, although with larger increases. BP-AKR raised the price of BP 92 from Rp12,390 to Rp16,670 per liter, up by Rp4,280 per liter. For BP Ultimate (RON 95), the price also increased from Rp12,930 to Rp17,240 per liter, a rise of Rp4,310 per liter.

Meanwhile, Vivo Energy Indonesia raised the price of Revvo 92 from Rp12,390 to Rp16,670 per liter, an increase of approximately 34.55 percent.

On the other hand, Shell Indonesia maintained the price of Shell V-Power (RON 95) at Rp24,490 per liter, effective since June 1, 2026.

With these adjustments, Pertamina’s fuel prices remain relatively lower compared to several private operators, by around Rp420 per liter for RON 92 and around Rp240 per liter for RON 95 compared to BP-AKR prices.

In its official statement, BP-AKR said that fuel prices may change at any time depending on fluctuations in global crude oil prices.

“We are committed to continuous innovation in order to consistently provide high-quality fuel for vehicles in Indonesia,” the company stated.

According to Jakartaweekly.com’s records, the fuel price increase comes amid rising global crude oil prices. As of Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Brent crude was trading at around US$86 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at approximately US$88 per barrel.

The rise in global oil prices cannot be separated from escalating geopolitical tensions in recent times. The conflict between Iran and the United States–Israel is considered one of the main triggers.

The conflict led Iran to block the Strait of Hormuz, a move that ultimately pushed global oil prices higher. The rise in global oil prices has prompted several countries to adjust their fuel prices earlier.
