Indonesia Golf Festival 2026 Opens in BSD

TANGERANG — Jakartaweekly.com. The Indonesian Golf Course Owners Association (APLGI), in collaboration with PT Satu Tujuan Event (SATUE), has officially opened Indonesia Golf Festival (IGF) 2026 at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang. Running from October 23 to 25, the festival aims to broaden public participation in golf while supporting the growth of Indonesia’s golf industry and its wider ecosystem.

Held under the theme “Elevate the Game, Expand the Sport,” IGF 2026 brings together more than 120 exhibitors across 10,000 square metres of exhibition space. The event connects stakeholders across the industry, including golf course operators, golf equipment manufacturers and distributors, businesses, communities and golfers from different backgrounds.

The opening marks a step in strengthening cross-sector collaboration and promoting golf as a more inclusive, dynamic sport that is relevant to a wider audience. The festival aims not only to improve the quality of the golfing experience but also to introduce the sport to more people, particularly younger generations and communities interested in learning about golf.

APLGI Chairman Budiarsa Sastrawinata said the development of Indonesia’s golf industry requires collaboration among golf course operators, businesses, communities and other stakeholders. He expressed hope that Indonesia Golf Festival would serve as a platform to strengthen these relationships and create new opportunities for the national industry.

Meanwhile, SATUE President Director Bambang Setiawan highlighted the importance of creating a festival that connects industry needs with visitor experiences. Through IGF 2026, SATUE aims to combine exhibitions, interactive activities, product promotions and community programmes in a single event.

Promotions and Interactive Experiences

Beyond showcasing golf-related products and services, IGF 2026 features a range of programmes designed to appeal to both experienced golfers and people new to the sport.

Activities include clearance sales and special promotions, golf equipment auctions, community events and interactive golf experiences. Visitors can explore equipment, discover promotional offers, engage with industry players and learn more about developments in Indonesia’s golf sector.

The festival also provides opportunities for golf communities to participate, expand their networks and share experiences in a more open setting. The organisers say this approach supports efforts to broaden golf participation while creating new opportunities for businesses and related industries.

Supporting the Growth of Indonesia’s Golf Industry

APLGI and SATUE hope Indonesia Golf Festival will develop into a regular event that contributes to the advancement of the country’s golf industry. By bringing exhibitors, communities and businesses together, the festival aims to strengthen industry connections, expand business opportunities and encourage more Indonesians to discover and enjoy golf.

Bank Central Asia (BCA) is supporting the event as its official banking sponsor, with the aim of improving and facilitating transactions throughout the festival.

APLGI and SATUE have invited the public, golfers, communities and industry professionals to visit Indonesia Golf Festival 2026, which runs until October 25 at ICE BSD City, Tangeran
