JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com – Audi Indonesia has hinted that it will introduce a new model for its Q-Series lineup in the Indonesian market in the near future. The model is said to be part of the evolution of Audi’s premium SUV range, which has long filled the modern premium vehicle segment in the country.

In its official statement on Thursday, May 21, 2026, Audi said the latest model would feature a more progressive design, sporty character, next-generation Audi technology, and the brand’s signature driving experience through its quattro drivetrain system.

Audi Indonesia Chief Operating Officer Edo Januarko Chandra said the Q-Series lineup has consistently offered distinct characteristics in each model, ranging from urban mobility needs to premium flagship vehicles.

“Through the Q-Series lineup, Audi presents different premium vehicle characteristics in each model. From vehicles for urban mobility and family travel to flagships with Audi’s signature performance and technology,” Edo said in an official statement on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

In the teaser image released, Audi’s latest vehicle reveals several design details pointing to the sporty premium SUV character typical of the Q-Series lineup, although it remains covered by a cloth.

From its silhouette, the vehicle appears to have a coupe-style SUV proportion with a roofline that slopes toward the rear, giving it a more dynamic and modern impression. The front section also appears to feature Audi’s signature large grille with a bold hexagonal design.

Other modern characteristics can be seen in the use of slim LED headlights with a sharp design that reinforces its futuristic look. In addition, the front bumper appears aggressive with large air intakes that are closely associated with Audi’s sporty character.

Overall, the teaser showcases a vehicle with a luxurious appearance, strong character, and performance-oriented design, in line with Audi’s latest design identity for its premium SUV lineup.

Q-Series Models

Currently, Audi Indonesia markets several Q-Series models, namely the Audi Q3 Sportback, Audi Q7, and Audi Q8.

The Audi Q3 Sportback is positioned as a compact SUV with a sporty coupe design for daily use. The model is equipped with a 1.4 TFSI engine paired with a 6-speed S tronic transmission and features such as Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus and MMI Navigation Plus.

Meanwhile, the Audi Q7 comes as a seven-passenger SUV powered by a 340 HP V6 3.0 TFSI Mild Hybrid engine and Audi’s quattro drivetrain system, aimed at premium family travel.

The Audi Q8 serves as the flagship model in Audi’s SUV lineup with a sportier S line design. The vehicle uses a V6 3.0 TFSI Mild Hybrid engine paired with an 8-speed S tronic transmission, producing 340 PS and 500 Nm of torque.

Audi stated that the entire Q-Series lineup in Indonesia already uses quattro technology, Audi’s signature all-wheel-drive system designed to improve traction, stability, and vehicle handling under various road conditions.

Globally, the Q-Series has become one of Audi’s premium SUV lineups that continues to evolve by combining modern design, comfort, and technological innovation to meet today’s mobility needs.

“Going forward, Audi Indonesia will also continue the evolution of the Q-Series lineup in Indonesia through the introduction of new models designed to complement modern premium mobility needs,” he said.
