JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com —The film Semua Akan Baik-Baik Saja directed by Baim Wong has surpassed 1 million viewers within 14 days of screening in Indonesian cinemas. The achievement also marks his third consecutive box office success.
Previously, Baim Wong and Tiger Wong Entertainment achieved similar success with the films Lembayung and Sukma, both of which also attracted more than 1 million viewers.
Baim Wong expressed his gratitude to audiences who watched Semua Akan Baik-Baik Saja and showed support for the Indonesian film industry.
“We will continue trying to make good films,” Baim said in a statement on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
He added that the management would launch a buy-one-get-one-free ticket promotion to celebrate the film reaching 1 million viewers. The promotional tickets are available through the TIX ID application from May 26 to May 28, 2026.
Semua Akan Baik-Baik Saja tells a family story wrapped in a warm drama atmosphere, making it suitable for family viewing during the long Iduladha holiday. The story highlights relationships among family members tested by loss, conflict, and the process of understanding one another.
The film stars several well-known Indonesian actors and actresses, including Happy Salma, Reza Rahadian, Christine Hakim, Teuku Rifnu Wikana, Ari Irham, and Raihaanun.
In general, the film tells the story of the sudden death of Mentari, which forces three siblings with very different personalities to live together again. Langit, played by Reza Rahadian, must become a parental figure for Mentari’s children amid family conflicts, unresolved past issues, and each family member’s struggle to accept one another once more.
