PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) has reaffirmed its commitment to developing superior human resources through its Foster Children Scholarship program. This initiative is part of the company’s implementation of its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL), particularly focusing on the education pillar, in line with the efforts of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) to provide tangible benefits to the community.
The program aligns with the “Asta Cita” (Eight Aspirations) initiated by President Prabowo, aiming to bolster Indonesia’s human resources in the field of education. It not only provides financial assistance but also aims to create more equitable opportunities for Indonesian children to access education. By offering early support, Brantas Abipraya seeks to enhance the quality of the younger generation, enabling them to become productive and competitive individuals in the future.
Dian Sovana, the Corporate Secretary of Brantas Abipraya, stated that the scholarship program is a tangible manifestation of the company’s concern for the future of the nation’s youth.
“We believe that the greatest investment is in people. Through the Foster Children Scholarship program, we want to ensure that the nation’s children have access to proper education so they can become the next generation to lead Indonesia forward,” she said.
Dian Sovana also added that this program is consistent with the implementation of the TJSL Education pillar, which is a key focus for Brantas Abipraya. “We see education as the primary foundation of national development. With this scholarship, Brantas Abipraya hopes to open wider opportunities for children to achieve their dreams without being burdened by financial limitations. We hope this small step can contribute significantly to producing superior human resources for the Indonesia Emas (Golden Indonesia) 2045 vision,” she elaborated.
Through this program, Brantas Abipraya aims to ensure that every child has an equal opportunity to thrive. This also represents the SOE’s contribution to strengthening Indonesia’s human capital foundation and supporting the national development agenda, which prioritizes human resource enhancement.
“With the continuation of the Brantas Abipraya Foster Children Scholarship Program, which has been running since 2022, the company hopes its benefits will be more widely felt by the community, serving as a concrete step in preparing for the golden generation of 2045,” concluded Dian Sovana.
