JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com – Changan, a global automotive brand from China under the Indomobil Group, has expanded its business reach to West Java with the opening of its newest official dealership in Bandung on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. This opening is part of the company’s market penetration strategy.

Setiawan Surya, CEO of Changan Indonesia, said that the opening of the official Changan dealership in Bandung, West Java, is part of the company’s strategic move and long-term commitment to expanding its network in Indonesia.

“We see Bandung as a promising city, in line with the characteristics of its people who are modern and increasingly open to environmentally friendly mobility solutions,” he said in a statement on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

He added that the presence of this dealership also marks Changan’s expansion into major cities outside Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Greater Jakarta area). Bandung, he noted, was chosen as a strategic location due to its dynamic automotive market growth and strong potential for electric vehicle development in the region.

Setiawan also expressed optimism that the presence of the official dealership in the city, famously known as the “City of Flowers,” will provide the best services while strengthening Changan’s presence closer to consumers in Bandung and its surrounding areas.

Facilities at Changan’s Bandung Dealership

He said the dealership, located at Jl. Soekarno-Hatta No. 291, Situsaeur, Bojongloa Kidul District, Bandung, stands on a 3,619-square-meter land area with a building size of 1,566 square meters.

The dealership features comprehensive 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) facilities to provide a complete vehicle ownership experience for customers. Other facilities are designed for customer comfort, including a lounge area and a service waiting area.

Looking ahead, he added, Changan, together with New Champion Motor, hopes to continue growing and developing through strong synergy, while delivering added value to customers and contributing to the development of the electric vehicle industry, particularly in Bandung, West Java.
