“Through Indomobil Expo 2026, we want to demonstrate that Changan offers trusted mobility solutions through a combination of global innovation, product readiness for the Indonesian market, and strong sales and after-sales support from Indomobil,” Setiawan said in a press release on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
At the exhibition, Changan introduced the Lumin as an EV city car targeting younger consumers with its compact design and stylish character. The model features a white and green gradient exterior, intended to inspire electric vehicle customization.
The Lumin comes equipped with “Moon Eyes” headlamp styling, concealed door handles, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and CarAuto connectivity. The compact EV also features Smart Keyless Entry & Start.
In terms of performance, the Lumin supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in approximately 35 minutes. The vehicle offers a driving range of up to 301 kilometers and luggage capacity of up to 580 liters.
In addition to the Lumin, Changan also showcased the Deepal S07, positioned as a premium electric SUV featuring a Tech Sporty exterior design and a Yacht Style Wrap Around interior layout.
The Deepal S07 is equipped with a 1.9-square-meter panoramic sunroof complete with an electric sunshade to enhance cabin comfort. On the safety side, the vehicle features 19 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Golden Shield Battery technology, and has earned a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
Changan said all vehicles on display have been designed to suit Indonesian market characteristics, including energy efficiency, battery durability, and the ability to handle various road conditions.
During Indomobil Expo 2026, Changan is also offering test drive sessions, allowing visitors to experience firsthand the performance and technology of both electric vehicle models.
The company is also rolling out several promotional programs, including direct gifts such as e-money and exclusive merchandise, low down payment schemes, 0 percent interest financing, monthly installments starting from Rp2 million, and retention programs for owners of vehicle brands under the Indomobil Group.
Changan said the programs are part of its efforts to expand public access to electric vehicles while supporting the acceleration of a more environmentally friendly mobility ecosystem in Indonesia.
