Sales Climb to Rp2.09 Trillion, CLEO Pushes Aggressive Factory Expansion

Jakartaweekly.com – Publicly listed bottled drinking water producer PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (IDX: CLEO) is accelerating its nationwide expansion strategy after posting resilient financial performance, underpinned by a strong capital structure and improving profitability.

The company recorded sales of Rp2.09 trillion in the third quarter of 2025, reflecting a 5.8% year-on-year (YoY) increase. Meanwhile, EBITDA rose 9% YoY, signaling sustained operational efficiency and healthy internal cash flow generation.

CEO Melisa Patricia said the steady growth reflects the effectiveness of CLEO’s market expansion strategy.

“The stable increase in sales and EBITDA confirms that our operational capacity and cash flow remain solid, enabling us to fund expansion while maintaining financial discipline,” she stated on the press release.

Three New Factories to Boost National Footprint

As part of its aggressive growth strategy, CLEO has completed construction of three new factories in Palu, Pontianak, and Pekanbaru. All three facilities are targeted to commence operations this year, increasing CLEO’s total number of factories to 35 nationwide.

The additional plants are expected to significantly enhance distribution efficiency by bringing production closer to consumers, reducing logistics costs, and improving delivery speed — a key competitive advantage in Indonesia’s geographically dispersed market.

Balanced Funding Structure Supports Growth

CLEO’s expansion is supported by a balanced capital structure combining internal cash generation and external financing. This approach allows the company to execute large-scale investments without compromising operational stability.

Beyond the three new plants, CLEO continues to evaluate expansion into other high-potential regions. Each prospective location undergoes comprehensive feasibility assessments, including hydrology studies to secure sustainable raw water sources and in-depth market potential analysis.

“Our expansion is not merely about increasing market share, but about building long-term, sustainable growth foundations,” Melisa emphasized.

Confident Outlook for 2026

Despite intensifying competition in the bottled water industry and ongoing pressure on consumer purchasing power, CLEO remains optimistic about maintaining solid performance in 2026. The company plans to support expansion with regular launches of innovative products tailored to evolving customer needs.

“We are confident that this expansion strategy, combined with continuous product innovation, will drive stronger sales performance going forward,” Melisa concluded.
