JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com — PT Solusi Sentral Sistem, the owner of the Japanese water heater and sanitary brand Danko, has expanded its retail network by opening its third Danko Proshop Showroom at Plaza Kenari Mas in Central Jakarta. The showroom was launched in collaboration with authorized dealer Metro Jaya Sanitary as part of the company’s strategy to strengthen Danko’s offline presence.

Over the past few years, Danko products have performed strongly across various e-commerce platforms, consistently ranking among the best-selling products in their categories. Encouraged by growing consumer demand, the company is now placing greater emphasis on expanding its showroom network, allowing customers to see, experience, and purchase its products more conveniently.

“The success of Danko products in the online market has motivated us to strengthen our presence in the offline market. Through the opening of our third Danko Proshop Showroom, we aim to bring our products closer to consumers while providing a more comfortable shopping experience,” said Martinus Jono, Marketing Director of PT Solusi Sentral Sistem, Jakarta, Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Designed with the same concept as its previous locations, the Danko Proshop at Plaza Kenari Mas features a more luxurious interior, offering customers a premium shopping experience. Visitors can explore the company’s flagship products, receive consultations on their household needs, and select products that best suit their preferences and budgets.

“We want every customer who visits our showroom to enjoy a pleasant shopping experience while gaining access to high-quality products at affordable prices,” Martinus added.

The showroom showcases a wide range of Danko’s flagship products, including electric water heaters, gas water heaters, kitchen sinks, and pull-out faucets, all of which have become popular among Indonesian consumers. Located at Plaza Kenari Mas—one of Central Jakarta’s largest hubs for building materials and household supplies—the company believes the showroom has strong market potential.

In line with its business expansion, Danko has also recorded significant sales growth. Throughout 2025, the company doubled its sales compared with the previous year. The positive momentum continued into the first half of 2026, with sales increasing by more than twofold compared with the same period in 2025.

According to Martinus, the growth indicates that consumer purchasing power for high-quality home improvement products remains strong. He also noted that more consumers are recognizing the value of investing in premium products that offer better quality, greater durability, and longer-term value compared with lower-priced alternatives that have shorter lifespans.

Despite rising production costs, Danko remains committed to maintaining competitive prices. The company has chosen not to raise retail prices, even at the expense of part of its profit margin, in order to keep quality products accessible to consumers.

Looking ahead, Danko plans to open six Danko Proshop showrooms across Indonesia in 2026, followed by an additional ten outlets the following year. New showrooms are scheduled to open soon in Bandung, Surabaya, Bali, and several other strategic cities as part of the company’s nationwide distribution expansion.

In addition to expanding its retail network, Danko is continuing to develop new products. Over the next few years, the company plans to introduce new water heater models and expand its sanitary product lineup with more comprehensive product variants, while maintaining its commitment to competitive pricing.

To celebrate the grand opening of the Danko Proshop Showroom at Plaza Kenari Mas, the company is offering free installation for customers who purchase Danko water heaters during the promotional period.

As part of its long-term vision, Danko also aims to establish a manufacturing facility in Indonesia within the next five years. The company believes that local production will strengthen its competitiveness while enabling it to provide high-quality products at affordable prices for Indonesian consumers.

“Our vision is to deliver quality products at affordable prices while strengthening Indonesia’s domestic industry through the establishment of local manufacturing facilities. We believe that through continuous innovation, an expanding distribution network, and strong support from our business partners, Danko will continue to grow alongside the Indonesian people,” Martinus concluded.
