DENPASAR, Jakartaweekly.com—PT Sokonindo Automobile has officially introduced the DFSK E5 Plus plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) SUV to Bali. However, consumers on the island will have to pay more than buyers in Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya.

During the Regional Launch at Living World Bali from September 22 to 28, 2026, the DFSK E5 Plus is priced at Rp534 million on the road (OTR) in Bali. For the first five buyers, DFSK is offering a special price of Rp494 million OTR.

According to Jakarta Weekly’s review, the regular price of the DFSK E5 Plus is currently listed at Rp499 million OTR Jakarta on DFSK’s official website. The price applies following the end of a special launch offer at GIIAS 2026, where the model was previously offered at Rp479 million.

This means the regular price of the E5 Plus in Bali is Rp35 million, or around 7 percent, higher than its OTR price in Jakarta.

The price difference becomes more notable when compared with other major cities. During its regional launch in Bandung from September 8 to 13, 2026, DFSK offered the E5 Plus at Rp498 million OTR Bandung. Meanwhile, the current listed price of the E5 Plus in Surabaya is around Rp499 million.

However, the special price for the first five buyers in Bali is actually lower than the regular price in Jakarta. At Rp494 million, eligible Bali buyers would pay Rp5 million less than the regular Jakarta price.

DFSK Brings 7-Seater PHEV SUV to Bali

Cing Hok Rifin, Director of Sales Center at PT Sokonindo Automobile, said Bali has distinct mobility characteristics, making the island a relevant market for the E5 Plus.

“Bali has unique mobility characteristics. As a destination with highly dynamic activities, vehicles in Bali are expected to provide comfort for daily mobility while also offering the flexibility needed for intercity travel. This is why we see Bali as a highly relevant market for the E5 Plus,” Cing Hok Rifin said.

The DFSK E5 Plus adopts the concept of “Electric for Daily, Hybrid for Journey.” The vehicle combines an electric drive system with an internal combustion engine and is positioned as a PHEV SUV for both everyday use and long-distance travel.

The E5 Plus features a six-passenger configuration with captain’s seats, according to the variant listed on DFSK’s official website. The vehicle is also equipped with ventilated seats, a 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen, a 13-speaker audio system, and an infotainment system powered by the Snapdragon 8155 platform, along with Sera, an Indonesian-language voice assistant.

In terms of safety, the E5 Plus comes with 18 Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features, including Adaptive Lane Change Assist (ALCA) and Automatic Parking Assist.

The vehicle also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, allowing its battery to supply power to external electrical devices.

For enhanced ride comfort, the E5 Plus uses independent front and rear suspension combined with Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology.

The arrival of the E5 Plus in Bali is part of DFSK’s broader expansion following the model’s introduction in several other cities, including Palembang, Medan, and Bandung. Sales and after-sales services in Bali are supported by PT Bevos Auto Mandiri, which has been a DFSK dealer partner since 2019.
