Dyandra Reports 122% Profit Growth as MICE Business Gains Momentum in H1 2026

JAKARTA — Jakartaweekly.com. PT Dyandra Media International Tbk (IDX: DYAN), one of Indonesia’s leading meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) companies, reported robust financial results for the first half of 2026, supported by strong demand for exhibitions, conferences, concerts, and proprietary events across the country.

The company recorded consolidated revenue of Rp780.8 billion during the January–June period, representing a 17% year-on-year increase from Rp668.3 billion in the same period last year. Net profit climbed even more sharply, surging 122% to Rp42.7 billion, compared with Rp19.2 billion in the first half of 2025.

President Director Daswar Marpaung attributed the performance to the company’s continued business innovation and disciplined execution of its long-term growth strategy.

“The improvement in both revenue and profitability reflects the successful implementation of our business strategy,” Daswar said in a statement on Tuesday. “We remain committed to strengthening our proprietary event portfolio, enhancing service quality across all business segments, and expanding strategic collaborations to sustain long-term growth.”

The company’s operating performance also improved significantly alongside higher business activity. Operating profit nearly doubled to Rp60.2 billion, an increase of 93% from the previous year, while EBITDA rose 37% to Rp99.9 billion, reflecting stronger operational efficiency and improved profitability.

The Event & Exhibition Organizer segment remained Dyandra’s largest revenue contributor. Through PT Dyandra Promosindo and its subsidiaries, the business generated Rp703 billion, accounting for approximately 90% of consolidated revenue. The Convention & Exhibition Hall business contributed Rp40.2 billion, followed by the Hotel segment with Rp24.6 billion, while the Supporting Event business generated Rp14.6 billion.

Corporate Secretary Mirna Gozal said the company’s exhibition business continued to benefit from growing demand for business events, trade exhibitions, conferences, and entertainment activities, alongside the successful expansion of Dyandra’s portfolio of proprietary intellectual property (IP) events.

To date, the company has developed more than 15 signature events, including the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS), Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX), Halal Indo, Projek D, Indo Wood Expo, Deep Extreme Indonesia, Sunset di Kebun, Sunset di Pantai, FLOII Expo, Indonesia Woman Fest, Jakarta International Pet Show, and the Indonesia Coffee Expo.

Beyond exhibitions, Dyandra also recorded positive growth in its tourism and leisure business through PT Mitra Natura Raya, which manages Indonesia’s Botanical Gardens. During the first half of 2026, the business welcomed more than 1.36 million visitors, representing 14% year-on-year growth.

The increase was supported by innovative educational tourism programs, sustainability-focused activations, and the company’s biannual Sunset di Kebun music festival held in Bogor, Jakarta, and Bali. Enhanced marketing initiatives also contributed to higher visitor numbers across the Botanical Gardens in Bogor, Cibodas, Purwodadi, and Bali.

Dyandra said it continues to strengthen collaboration across its business units while working closely with strategic partners to enhance event promotion, expand audience reach, and improve information distribution across Indonesia’s major cities.

Looking ahead, the company remains optimistic about the outlook for Indonesia’s MICE industry during the second half of 2026. A strong pipeline of exhibitions, conferences, concerts, and corporate events has already been secured through the end of the year.

The Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) has booked numerous international events, while the Dyandra Convention Center Surabaya (DCCS) continues to see healthy demand for corporate meetings, graduation ceremonies, association gatherings, and social events.

Meanwhile, PT Dyandra Promosindo and its subsidiaries are preparing several flagship events for the remainder of the year. These include the Indonesia Coffee Expo (ICX) Medan from July 31 to August 2, the International Franchise, License and Business Concept Expo & Conference (IFRA) from August 28 to 30, the Indonesia Coffee Expo Jakarta from September 4 to 6, the Projek-D Music Festival on September 5, U-KNOW PROJECT 26: SCENE#1 in Jakarta on September 12, and the Halal Indonesia International Industry Expo (Halal Indo) from September 24 to 27.

According to the company, these events are expected to strengthen revenue contributions in the second half of 2026 while further diversifying Dyandra’s event portfolio across business exhibitions, halal industries, lifestyle, music, and entertainment.

Supported by a growing pipeline of events, a stronger proprietary IP portfolio, and expanding strategic partnerships, Dyandra believes its integrated MICE ecosystem and diversified business model will continue to drive sustainable growth through the remainder of 2026.
