TANGERANG, Jakartaweekly.com — Chery Indonesia has officially launched its latest compact electric vehicle, the Chery Q, at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. The model is available in two variants—Chery Q Pure and Chery Q Rizz—with introductory prices starting from Rp239.9 million (on-the-road Jakarta).
The launch marks Chery’s latest effort to expand its electric vehicle lineup in Indonesia’s compact EV segment. The company is also offering special introductory pricing for customers who place their orders by August 9, 2026.
The Chery Q Pure is offered at a promotional pre-booking price of Rp239,900,000 (OTR Jakarta). Meanwhile, the Chery Q Rizz is priced at Rp259,900,000 (OTR Jakarta) for customers who pre-booked the vehicle between May 18 and August 9, 2026. Buyers of the Rizz variant will also receive the SIGMA Package at no additional cost.
Budi Darmawan Jantania, Vice Director of Chery Business Unit Indonesia, said the Chery Q was designed to deliver a compact electric vehicle that combines spaciousness, advanced technology, and competitive safety features.
“The launch of the Chery Q at GIIAS 2026 marks an important milestone in our commitment to offering a truly complete compact EV package for Indonesian consumers,” said Budi recently.
The Chery Q adopts the brand’s Aesthetics of Harmonious Square and Rounded design philosophy, blending bold lines with smooth curves. Its distinctive front and rear lighting signatures are shaped like the letter “Q,” reinforcing the model’s identity. According to Chery, the vehicle’s design has been recognized with both the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award.
Inside, the cabin features soft-touch materials, premium leather upholstery, an N95 cabin air filter, and physical control buttons designed to provide intuitive operation of key vehicle functions.
Built on Chery’s Dedicated Intelligent Pure-Electric Platform, the Chery Q offers a 2,700-mm wheelbase, providing a spacious cabin despite its compact exterior dimensions. The vehicle also offers up to 1,520 liters of total storage capacity, including a front trunk (frunk), rear cargo space, and 38 storage compartments throughout the cabin.
Both the Chery Q Pure and Chery Q Rizz are powered by a 42.7-kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed driving range of up to 400 kilometers under the NEDC testing standard. They also support DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in approximately 16.5 minutes and come equipped with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability rated at 6.6 kW, a multi-link rear suspension, and a body structure made of 82% high-strength steel.
The higher-spec Chery Q Rizz adds several premium features, including a powered frunk, auto power-folding side mirrors, Q-Talk voice interaction, a 540-degree HD panoramic camera, and 20 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) functions.
As part of the launch campaign, customers who pre-book the Chery Q Rizz by August 9, 2026, will receive the SIGMA Package free of charge. The package includes an electric power tailgate, autonomous parking assist, exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels, a 50W wireless fast charger, and ambient lighting.
Throughout GIIAS 2026, visitors can explore both Chery Q variants at the company’s exhibition booth, experience the vehicles through test drives, and take advantage of various promotional offers available during the event.
