iCAR Expands into North Sumatra with New Medan City Store

MEDAN, Jakartaweekly.com—iCAR Indonesia has partnered with PT Infiniti Oriental Star to open the iCAR Medan City Store, as the company seeks to expand its presence in North Sumatra through the modern-classic styled showroom.

Bayu Apriadi, Regional Sales Manager of iCAR Indonesia, said network expansion is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen the brand’s presence while reaching more consumers across different regions of Indonesia.

“The opening of the iCAR Medan City Store marks an important step in expanding our reach in North Sumatra and giving more consumers the opportunity to get to know iCAR products and experience the brand’s character firsthand,” he said in Medan on Monday, Aug. 24, 2026.

He added that the new showroom also supports iCAR Indonesia’s broader efforts to expand its footprint across the country as the company continues to grow its network.

According to him, the management plans to continue expanding the iCAR network in cities across Indonesia, bringing the company’s products and services closer to more consumers in the future.

On the same occasion, Tommy Katio, Director of PT Infiniti Oriental Star, said the iCAR Medan City Store was designed to provide a comfortable environment for consumers to explore iCAR products.

“We want the iCAR Medan City Store to be a comfortable place where customers can get to know and experience iCAR products firsthand. That is why we provide display units and test-drive facilities that allow customers to explore the iCAR V23 more closely,” he said.

He expressed hope that the City Store would provide Medan residents with a comfortable and enjoyable vehicle-shopping experience.

Located at Centre Point Mall, Jl. Jawa No. 8, GF-04, Medan, the showroom occupies an area of 90 square meters. It features two iCAR V23 units on display and another two units available for test drives.

This allows consumers to see the vehicle firsthand and experience its driving characteristics. The showroom also offers home service to make vehicle maintenance more convenient for customers.
