BALI, Jakartaweekly.com – ini Vie Hospitality has expanded its hospitality business portfolio by introducing La Mewali Resort & Spa Canggu in the Canggu area of Bali. The resort, which is scheduled to welcome its first guests in June 2026, embraces an eco-wellness sanctuary concept with a design approach inspired by the element of water.

In its official statement, ini Vie Hospitality said La Mewali was designed as a destination that combines architecture, sensory experiences, and natural elements within one integrated environment. The name “La Mewali” itself comes from the word “La,” meaning “The,” and “Mewali,” derived from the Balinese word for “return,” symbolizing a journey back to balance and inner calm.

Located near Canggu’s beach areas and lifestyle hubs, the resort still offers a private atmosphere through organic design, open spaces, and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor areas.

La Mewali’s main concept highlights water as an integral part of the stay experience. Its layered lagoon pool system flows throughout the resort, combined with materials such as terracotta, natural stone, wood, and bamboo to create an immersive tropical ambiance.

La Mewali offers several accommodation types, ranging from the One Bedroom Pool Villa with Lagoon Access to the Grand Suite Pool View. Each unit is equipped with facilities such as a plunge pool, outdoor bathtub, hammock, and in-room projector.

On the culinary side, the resort introduces two distinct restaurant concepts. Wisteria Brunch serves breakfast and brunch in a semi-open setting, while Puri Pure offers modern Indonesian cuisine for dinner service.

Wellness facilities are also a major focus of the resort’s development. Svaha Spa at La Mewali presents a Nekara-inspired sound healing concept, which is claimed to be Bali’s first sound-based spa experience.

In addition to the spa, the resort provides yoga and pilates areas, a fitness center, a sunken swim-up bar, a cave lounge, as well as EV shuttle services and airport transfers upon request.

ini Vie Hospitality stated that La Mewali was designed not merely as a place to stay, but as a modern restoration sanctuary that combines architecture, water, and sensory experiences within a contemporary tropical atmosphere.
