JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com – JAECOO Indonesia has expanded its retail footprint by opening two new dealerships in Makassar, South Sulawesi, and Solo, Central Java, as part of its strategy to strengthen sales and after-sales services while supporting the adoption of electrified vehicles across the country.
The JAECOO Sanggar Laut Makassar dealership officially opened on July 8, 2026, followed by the inauguration of JAECOO Sun Solo on July 9. Both facilities operate under the integrated 3S concept, providing sales, service, and spare parts under one roof.
Jim Ma, Business Unit Director of JAECOO Indonesia, said the expansion reflects growing consumer confidence in the brand’s products in Indonesia.
“Our positive growth this year demonstrates increasing consumer trust in JAECOO’s technology and products. The opening of new dealerships in Makassar and Solo marks a tangible step in strengthening our business foundation in South Sulawesi and Central Java while ensuring customers receive the highest level of service throughout their ownership journey,” he said.
He added that the company would continue expanding its dealer network to deliver innovations that meet the evolving mobility needs of Indonesian consumers.
The JAECOO Sanggar Laut Makassar dealership occupies a 2,140-square-meter site with a total building area of 2,171 square meters. Its showroom can display up to eight vehicles, including the JAECOO J5 EV, J7 SHS-P, and J8 SHS-P ARDIS.
The facility is equipped with five service bays capable of servicing up to 20 vehicles per day, along with two 120-kW fast chargers. It also offers home service and 24-hour roadside assistance.
Enzo Jaury, Branch Manager of JAECOO Sanggar Laut Makassar, said the dealership is expected to make JAECOO products and services more accessible to customers in Makassar and surrounding areas.
“With a modern showroom, trained technicians, home service, and 24-hour emergency assistance, we are ready to support customers throughout every stage of JAECOO vehicle ownership,” he said.
Meanwhile, the JAECOO Sun Solo dealership is located in Kartasura, Sukoharjo, on a 1,600-square-meter site. The two-story facility showcases three flagship models: the J5 EV, J7 SHS-P, and J8 SHS-P ARDIS.
For after-sales support, the dealership features six service bays capable of handling up to six vehicles daily. It also provides two EV charging stations with capacities of 7.7 kW and 22 kW, as well as a mobile service program that enables technicians to perform vehicle maintenance at customers’ locations.
Imelda Sundoro, Founder of Sun Motor Group, said the opening of JAECOO Sun Solo reflects the company’s commitment to delivering a more convenient ownership experience through a modern showroom and mobile service offerings.
“We are confident that JAECOO Sun Solo will become the preferred choice for consumers across the Solo region as demand for future mobility solutions continues to grow,” she said.
With the addition of the two new dealerships, JAECOO is moving closer to its target of operating 80 dealerships across Indonesia by the end of 2026. The company views network expansion as a key component of its strategy to support the country’s electrified mobility ecosystem while enhancing customer service nationwide.
