TANGERANG, Jakartaweekly.com—PT JETOUR Sales Indonesia has officially launched the JETOUR T2 i-DM at the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The plug-in hybrid Adventure SUV is priced at Rp688 million on-the-road (OTR) Jakarta.
Caroline Ling, President Director of PT JETOUR Sales Indonesia, said the launch of the JETOUR T2 i-DM marks an important milestone in the company’s efforts to introduce electrification technology to its Adventure SUV lineup in the Indonesian market.
“We are proud to officially introduce the JETOUR T2 i-DM to Indonesia. This model represents an important step for JETOUR in ushering in a new era of Adventure SUVs in the Indonesian market while expanding consumer access to our Intelligent Dual Mode (i-DM) technology,” Caroline said in Tangerang recently.
According to Caroline, the JETOUR T2 i-DM is designed for customers seeking a rugged adventure vehicle that also delivers efficiency and comfort for daily commuting as well as long-distance travel.
Globally, JETOUR said the T2 has recorded cumulative sales of more than 500,000 units within 33 months.
In Indonesia, the model is also claimed to be the company’s largest sales contributor and ranked as the best-selling Chinese internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle during the first half of 2026.
The JETOUR T2 i-DM features a plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines a fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5 TGDI Hybrid Dedicated Engine, an 18.4 kWh CATL LFP battery, a three-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), and dual electric motors.
With this combination, the vehicle is claimed to offer a driving range of more than 1,200 kilometers on a full battery charge and fuel tank.
The SUV is also equipped with an Energy Recovery System that automatically converts energy generated during deceleration and braking into electricity to recharge the battery.
In terms of construction, the JETOUR T2 i-DM adopts a Hardtop Cage Body Monocoque structure made of 80% high-strength steel.
The structure is claimed to support a static load of up to 300 kilograms while delivering torsional rigidity of 32,000 Nm per degree.
The model retains its signature boxy Adventure SUV styling, complemented by functional features including tie-down points for outdoor activities. To highlight its electrified identity, the vehicle also features i-DM and PHEV badges on the exterior.
The JETOUR T2 i-DM is available in five exterior colors: Khaki White, Carbon Crystal Black, Aviation Silver, Highway Gray, and Electroplated Green.
Every purchase of the JETOUR T2 i-DM includes a six-year unlimited-mileage vehicle and engine warranty, as well as an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty for the battery and electric drive system.
During GIIAS 2026, customers can also take advantage of promotional offers, including a free Paint Protection Film (PPF) voucher worth Rp22 million or a 0% financing rate for one year, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
JETOUR said it decided to expand the availability of its Intelligent Dual Mode technology after receiving a positive market response to the JETOUR T1 i-DM. The company said around 60% of JETOUR T1 bookings in Indonesia have been for the i-DM variant, reflecting growing consumer interest in electrified vehicles.
Visitors to GIIAS 2026 can explore the JETOUR T2 i-DM alongside the company’s other models, including the JETOUR T2, JETOUR T1, JETOUR T1 i-DM, JETOUR DASHING, and JETOUR X70 Plus at the JETOUR booth in Hall 6C, ICE BSD City.
