SURABAYA, Jakartaweekly.com – Kia has strengthened its expansion in Indonesia by inaugurating the Kia Spazio Tower dealership in the West Surabaya area on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. The new dealership is part of the company’s strategy to expand its network while delivering “Accessible Premium” services to customers in East Java.
Operated by Kia Azimut Group, the dealership is located at Jalan Mayjend Jonosewojo Kav.3, Pradahkalikendal, Graha Famili, West Surabaya. The facility occupies a 199-square-meter area and features a semi-outdoor and indoor concept designed to provide a more comfortable vehicle exploration experience for customers.
Jong Sung Park, CEO of Kia Sales Indonesia, said the opening of Kia Spazio Tower reflects the company’s long-term commitment to getting closer to Indonesian consumers, particularly in Surabaya and East Java, which are considered to have significant growth potential for Kia.
According to him, Kia aims to ensure customers enjoy easier vehicle ownership access, from the purchasing process to aftersales services.
“Surabaya and East Java hold significant potential for Kia’s future growth. We want customers to experience Kia ownership in a more accessible way,” he said in an official statement, Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
The new dealership also marks a strategic move by Kia to strengthen its presence in East Java, one of Indonesia’s continuously growing automotive markets. The move aligns with Kia’s repositioning strategy in Indonesia, which focuses on improving product and service accessibility.
In addition to expanding its dealership network, Kia also confirmed its participation in the Indonesia International Motor Show Surabaya 2026 to strengthen its regional exposure and get closer to consumers in East Java.
The Kia Spazio Tower dealership offers various facilities, including a showroom area, customer lounge, dealing area, reception area, and test drive services for prospective customers interested in trying Kia’s latest vehicles.
Among the flagship models marketed at the dealership are the Kia Carens and the Kia Sonet, both of which were previously introduced at the IIMS 2026.
In East Java, the all-new Carens is priced starting from Rp318 million OTR for the Trendy variant, Rp358 million for the Motion variant, and Rp398 million for the Signature variant.
Meanwhile, the new Sonet is offered starting from Rp278 million for the Trendy variant, Rp304 million for the Motion variant, and Rp334 million for the Signature variant.
Kia is also offering various aftersales programs for customers, including free periodic maintenance service fees for up to four years for Carens and Sonet owners, a vehicle warranty of up to seven years or 200,000 kilometers, and an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer battery warranty for electric and hybrid vehicles.
Rudy Surjanto, President Director of Kia Azimut Group, said Surabaya remains one of the regions experiencing increasing demand for vehicles, particularly in the SUV and MPV segments.
According to him, consumers are now paying greater attention to service quality and aftersales convenience when choosing a vehicle.
