JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com — Software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Mekari has launched Mekari Desty, an omnichannel commerce platform that integrates sales operations across multiple channels with back-office management within a single ecosystem.
Mekari CEO Suwandi Soh said the platform is designed to help retailers and digital small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) address operational challenges, ranging from inventory discrepancies and missed orders to fragmented financial records across multiple platforms.
“We are not only helping businesses sell more—we are helping them grow on a solid foundation with reliable data that supports every strategic decision,” he said in Jakarta recently.
Soh said Mekari Desty was introduced in response to a common challenge faced by many businesses that have successfully established their brands across multiple sales channels but continue to struggle with disconnected internal operating systems.
According to him, unsynchronized back-office operations have become one of the biggest barriers to business growth. Mekari Desty, he said, is designed to bridge that gap.
He added that the need for digitalization is also reflected in findings by Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), which highlighted the low adoption of digital technology among SMEs.
Limited system integration has forced many businesses to manage operations manually, increasing the risk of inventory errors, delays in customer service, and inaccurate financial reporting.
With Mekari Desty, merchants can manage sales through a single dashboard connected to major online marketplaces, including Shopee, Tokopedia, Lazada, and Blibli, as well as social commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop and WhatsApp.
The platform also supports integration with websites built on Shopify, WooCommerce, and Plugo.
Every incoming transaction is synchronized in real time with inventory data, shipping status, and financial records.
The system is also integrated with other services within the Mekari ecosystem, including Mekari Jurnal for accounting, Mekari POS for synchronizing inventory between physical and online stores, and Chat by Mekari Qontak for customer communication management.
In addition to streamlining operations, Mekari has introduced Mekari Airene, an artificial intelligence (AI) technology that analyzes sales and financial data to generate business recommendations.
According to Soh, the system can automatically send notifications—for example, when sales of a particular product increase, prompting business owners to replenish inventory based on projected cash flow.
He added that the company adopts a pay-as-you-grow business model, under which service fees are adjusted according to transaction volume. The model is intended to ensure that technology investments remain aligned with business growth, particularly for expanding SMEs.
Soh said the Mekari ecosystem is currently used by more than 55,000 business customers and over 4,000 active users, and the company has obtained ISO 27001 certification for data security.
