Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G Packs 10,000mAh Battery, Xiaomi Promises 2-Year Warranty

BOGOR, Jakartaweekly.com—Xiaomi Indonesia has revealed several key features of the Redmi Note 17 Series, which will be officially launched in Indonesia on September 16, 2026. One of the models drawing attention is the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G, which comes with a 10,000mAh battery.

Xiaomi Indonesia Head of PR Abee Hakim said the Redmi Note 17 Series was designed with a focus on device durability, battery life, and after-sales support.

“On the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, we have a very long-lasting battery, excellent impact resistance, industry-leading water resistance, and comprehensive after-sales service,” Hakim said at the Heads On Trip Redmi Note 17 Series event in Bogor on Monday, September 14, 2026.

According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is equipped with the Titan Battery System, featuring a 10,000mAh capacity. Xiaomi has also equipped the device with 100W HyperCharge fast-charging technology.

Xiaomi claims the battery capacity can support up to around three days of use. During the event, participants tested the device’s endurance through activities such as taking photos, creating content, and other daily tasks throughout the day.

Beyond its capacity, Xiaomi claims the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G battery can retain up to 80% of its original capacity after six years of normal use.

In terms of durability, Xiaomi said the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G has received the TÜV SÜD 5-Star Titan Quality certification. The certification forms part of Xiaomi’s claims regarding the device’s durability, battery endurance, and water protection.

In addition to the device itself, Xiaomi has prepared several after-sales services for Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G users.

Users will receive one free battery replacement within 36 months. Meanwhile, within a 24-month period, users are entitled to one free screen replacement, along with a 24-month warranty.

“This is what makes the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G the most durable series we have ever made,” Hakim said.

In addition to the Pro Max, Xiaomi is also introducing the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G. The model comes in three color options: Sky Blue, Purple, and Black.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G also adopts the Titan Quality concept, with a range of durability features. Xiaomi is also providing 24 months of after-sales support.

Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G users will receive an Extended Warranty for 24 months. Xiaomi is also offering a door-to-door repair pick-up service.

Under the service, devices requiring repairs can be picked up from the user’s home and taken to a service center.

During the repair period, Xiaomi will also provide a loaner smartphone, allowing users to remain active with a replacement device.

Redmi Note 17 5G Comes With 7,700mAh Battery

The standard Redmi Note 17 5G model comes with a 7,700mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. Xiaomi claims the combination of battery capacity and power management can support around two days of use.

In terms of protection, the Redmi Note 17 5G has an IP65 rating for resistance to dust and water splashes. Its display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Xiaomi is also providing after-sales services for the Redmi Note 17 5G, including a 24-month warranty and one battery replacement within 36 months, subject to the applicable service terms and conditions.

Abee said the Redmi Note 17 Series was introduced to meet the needs of users with high mobility, particularly younger consumers.

“We are committed to delivering products that are always ready,” he said.
