Suzuki Unveils Refreshed XL7 at GIIAS 2026, Prices Start at Rp274.3 Million

TANGERANG, Jakartaweekly.com — PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) officially launched the refreshed Suzuki XL7 at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. Produced in Indonesia, the refreshed SUV also made its global debut at the exhibition.

Suzuki introduced three variants: the XL7 New Alpha Hybrid, XL7 New Beta Hybrid, and XL7 New Zeta. All variants retain the seven-seat SUV configuration tailored to the Indonesian market.

President Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) and PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor (SIM), Minoru Amano, said the XL7 facelift was developed based on customer feedback.

“We want to create something that not only meets today’s standards but also allows customers to move confidently and gracefully into the future,” Amano said in Tangerang on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

At the same event, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales Deputy Managing Director Donny Saputra said the refreshed were designed without compromising the XL7’s core strengths that have made it popular among consumers.

“We did not want to change what customers already love about this vehicle—its toughness, spacious cabin, and outstanding efficiency,” he said.

According to Donny, the refresh is part of the company’s strategy to maintain the XL7’s competitiveness in the family SUV segment while addressing the needs of Indonesian consumers seeking more comprehensive features without a significant price increase.

“Our strategy is not merely about refreshing the appearance but also about improving the overall quality and driving experience. We hope the XL7 will continue to be the preferred choice for Indonesian families in their daily activities and special moments,” he added.

On the exterior, all variants receive several updates, including a redesigned front grille, LED fog lamps, newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels, smoked rear lamps, and a shark-fin antenna.

The New Alpha Hybrid variant also features additional black exterior accents, giving the SUV a bolder appearance.

Inside the cabin, all variants come with Metallic Hagane Dark Silver instrument panel trim.

Suzuki has also equipped the SUV with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, complemented by Arkamys sound processing software to enhance audio quality.

On the safety front, the XL7 New Alpha Hybrid is equipped as standard with a 360 View Camera, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and a Digital Video Recorder (DVR).

Under the hood, the XL7 continues to use the 1.5-liter K15B gasoline engine. The two higher variants retain Suzuki’s Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) technology, which the company claims improves fuel efficiency while reducing emissions.

Suzuki has also introduced new color options. The XL7 New Alpha Hybrid is now available in Ice Grayish Blue-Black and Marble Black, joining the existing Savanna Ivory-Black and Pearl Snow White-Black color choices. Meanwhile, the XL7 New Beta Hybrid and New Zeta receive the new Marble Black color.

In Indonesia, the refreshed Suzuki XL7 is priced from Rp274.3 million (on-the-road Jakarta) for the New Zeta MT to Rp329.7 million for the XL7 New Alpha Hybrid AT two-tone.
