Buzz Eclipse Edition at the Indomobil Expo in Senayan City, expanding its premium electric vehicle lineup with a more personalized offering for urban consumers.

Chief Operating Officer of PT Garuda Mataram Motor, Edo Januarko Chandra, said the latest variant was designed to deliver a more personalized ownership experience without altering the core identity of the ID. Buzz.

“Through ID. Buzz Eclipse Edition, we aim to offer a more personal and relevant option for ID. Buzz users without changing its main character,” Edo said in a press statement on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

He explained that the limited-edition model represents the latest interpretation of the ID. Buzz by combining iconic design, electrification technology, and flexible personalization tailored to modern mobility needs.

Inspired by the eclipse phenomenon, the ID. Buzz Eclipse Edition features a Deep Black and Deep Red exterior combination, creating a strong yet elegant visual identity. Volkswagen said the “Eclipse” name was chosen to emphasize the exclusivity of the limited-production model.

According to Edo, one of the model’s key differentiators lies in its flexible interior configurations, allowing users greater freedom to customize their driving experience.

The Bozz Interior option offers Premium BOZZ Seats with electric adjustment, an elegant black cabin theme, and features such as ergonomic headrests, adjustable backrests, and a pneumatic massage system.

Meanwhile, the White Signature Interior combines white and beige tones to create a brighter and more spacious cabin atmosphere, while the Fun Edition Interior is designed for users seeking a more expressive driving experience.

Edo said the model targets a broad range of users, including urban professionals, business owners, creative individuals, and modern families seeking flexibility, comfort, and style in a single vehicle.

As part of the ID. Buzz lineup, the Eclipse Edition retains Volkswagen’s signature German craftsmanship through its quiet cabin, spacious three-row interior, and flexible cargo capacity.

Premium features include an electrochromic panoramic smart glass roof, a Harman Kardon audio system, and advanced safety technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist, Lane Assist, and 360 Area View.

The vehicle offers a driving range of up to 573 kilometers under NEDC standards and is equipped with fast-charging technology to support both daily commuting and long-distance travel.
