Aspira Maxio Dash Targets Indonesia’s Scooter Tire Market

TANGERANG, Jakartaweekly.com — PT Astra Otoparts Tbk, through its Aspira brand, has introduced the Aspira Maxio Dash tire for automatic scooters, offering strong grip, a robust construction, and a sporty design.

The tire was introduced by Astra Otoparts at Automechanika Jakarta 2026, held at the company’s booth in Hall 5, NICE, PIK 2, on Friday (Sept. 25).

The Aspira Maxio Dash is aimed at meeting the needs of automatic scooter users, who make up a large segment of Indonesia’s motorcycle market. According to data from the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI), domestic motorcycle sales reached 6.41 million units in 2025, with automatic scooters accounting for around 91.7% of total sales.

Astra Otoparts Director Martogi Siahaan said the widespread use of automatic scooters has led to increasingly diverse demand for tires that support daily mobility.

“Automatic scooter users today have increasingly diverse needs. Tires not only support daily mobility but also provide a sense of safety when riding under various road conditions,” Martogi said.

He said the Aspira Maxio Dash was introduced as an option designed to support performance while also adding value in terms of appearance.

The Aspira Maxio Dash was developed with a focus on maximizing grip. Its tread pattern is designed to support tire performance on asphalt surfaces in both dry and wet conditions.

The characteristics are intended to support scooter handling across various road conditions encountered in everyday riding.

In addition to grip, the tire features a strong sidewall structure designed to support stability and durability in daily use.

In terms of appearance, the Aspira Maxio Dash features a modern and sporty tread pattern designed to reinforce the character of automatic scooters.

The Aspira Maxio Dash is available in two sizes: 80/90-14 and 90/90-14. Both sizes are intended for automatic scooters equipped with 14-inch wheels.

The product’s presence at Automechanika Jakarta 2026 provides Astra Otoparts with an opportunity to introduce the Aspira Maxio Dash directly to automotive industry players, business partners, communities, and consumers.
