TANGERANG, Jakartaweekly.com — Exports by Arta Global Partindo, a company engaged in automotive component distribution, reached around US$15 million-US$20 million as of August 2026. The company exports a range of automotive components, including genuine parts and Indonesian-made aftermarket products, to several countries.
Managing Director of Arta Global Partindo Randy Hardyson said the company has been exporting for around 10 years. Its export markets currently span Southeast Asia, Africa, the Americas, Australia, and the Middle East, with the company also beginning to explore the Russian market.
“For each year, it’s probably around US$15 million-US$20 million. It should actually be more than that,” Randy said on the sidelines of Automechanika Jakarta 2026, Sunday, Sept 26, 2026
According to Randy, the company exports various vehicle service parts, including clutch covers, couplings, air filters, oil filters, brake pads, brake shoes, coolant, and oil.
For the Australian market, the company exports more vehicle body parts, such as bumpers and doors. Meanwhile, its Southeast Asian markets include Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Randy said the company is not only seeking to maintain its existing export markets but is also looking for opportunities in new countries. One such opportunity is Trinidad, after a prospective customer from the country visited Indonesia and found products that could meet the needs of its market.
“We don’t export to individual shops. Instead, we try to find serious partners that are capable of handling large-scale business. We don’t sell at the retail level,” he said.
According to Randy, the company’s export trend has increased over the past three years. He estimated that export sales have grown by around 30%-40% annually.
In addition to genuine parts, Arta Global Partindo has also begun introducing its own aftermarket brands, Otosan and DWX. The products are manufactured in partnership with Indonesian factories for export.
Randy said the development of the aftermarket products is still in the research and development stage. The product categories currently being explored include shock absorbers, filters, and suspension components for low-cost green cars (LCGCs).
He said the aftermarket products are priced at around 15%-25% of the price of genuine parts. The company, he added, continues to focus on quality in developing the products.
Meanwhile, Randy said the company’s sales currently have an approximately 50%-50% split between the domestic and export markets.
“Currently, the composition is 50-50,” he said.
Beyond conventional vehicle spare parts, Putrajaya Group, the parent company of Arta Global Partindo, has also established a dedicated division to supply body parts for Chinese vehicles. The parts are supplied to, among others, insurance companies and workshops.
Randy said the company is focusing on body parts because engine components for Chinese vehicles are still covered by vehicle warranties. At present, he said, the vehicles are still relatively new.
