Chinese premium new energy vehicle (NEV) brand AITO has officially expanded its global footprint by entering into a strategic partnership with Performance Plus Motors, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Motors (ADM), one of the leading luxury automotive dealer groups in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The agreement was signed in Chongqing, China, on Sunday (February 8, 2026) by Jason Wang, President of SERES AUTO Overseas BU, and Syed Faiz Karim, CEO of Abu Dhabi Motors. Leon He, President of SERES AUTO, and Kelvin Zhao, Chief Representative of ADM China, were also present at the signing ceremony.
This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in AITO’s global expansion in the premium NEV segment and signals the beginning of its next phase of international growth, particularly in the Middle East market.
With over 40 years of experience, ADM has established itself as one of the most influential luxury automotive dealer groups in the Middle East, supported by an extensive sales network, a strong base of high-net-worth customers, and professional operational and after-sales capabilities. Its customer-centric philosophy and business innovation have set industry benchmarks in the region.
Meanwhile, AITO is one of the fastest-growing NEV brands, reaching one million units in production within just 46 months. Its flagship model, the AITO 9, has led China’s vehicle segment priced above RMB 500,000 for 21 consecutive months, reinforcing the brand’s leadership in the premium intelligent vehicle category.
Under the partnership, Performance Plus Motors will be responsible for the sales, delivery, and after-sales services of AITO’s premium intelligent vehicles in the UAE. The company also plans to establish brand experience centers and service facilities to deliver a user experience aligned with AITO’s premium positioning.
ADM will leverage its local market insights to drive localized marketing initiatives and brand communication programs, accelerating AITO’s expansion into the high-end consumer segment in the region. Both parties will also collaborate on customer service, market intelligence, and resource integration to build a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership.
“Our cooperation with ADM represents a significant step forward in AITO’s globalization strategy and opens a new chapter in exploring the premium NEV market in the Middle East,” said Jason Wang. “ADM’s experience and resources in the local luxury automotive market will strongly support AITO’s operations in the region. This collaboration will not only bring intelligent innovation to the Middle Eastern premium automotive market, but also further enhance AITO’s technological capabilities and global breakthroughs.”
Syed Faiz Karim added that AITO’s technological capabilities, product quality, and premium brand positioning are highly aligned with the needs of high-end consumers in the Middle East and with ADM’s corporate philosophy.
“We will leverage our network, resources, and operational excellence to support AITO’s long-term development in the UAE market, explore new opportunities in the premium NEV segment, and continuously deliver a more innovative and refined mobility experience,” he said.
AITO models have completed hardware and software adaptations to meet local requirements and have obtained the necessary certifications. The flagship AITO 9 has already begun test drives for local users in the UAE, marking an important step in engaging overseas consumers. Meanwhile, AITO vehicles have arrived at Dubai Port and are ready for delivery to customers following the official launch.
Looking ahead, AITO plans to further expand its presence across the Middle East as a springboard for broader regional growth, strengthening its influence in the global premium intelligent NEV market.
