JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com— Actor Andre Taulany and actress Amanda Rigby have drawn public attention after photos of the two wearing wedding attire circulated on social media. The reports have also renewed interest in their respective careers in Indonesia’s entertainment industry, including the films they have appeared in.

Andre Taulany and Amanda Rigby come from different generations of Indonesian entertainers. Before becoming widely known as a comedian and television presenter, Andre first built his career in music.

As a member of the band Stinky, Andre rose to popularity through a number of songs, including “Mungkinkah.” In addition to music, Andre later expanded his career into acting and comedy. He has appeared in feature films since Kiamat Sudah Dekat in 2003, following his appearance in Cerita Cinta in 2001, according to records from the Indonesian Film Center.

Andre subsequently appeared in several films, including 17th (2004), Kun Fayakuun (2008), Susuk Pocong (2009), Sule Ay Need You (2012), and Ketika (2015).

After a hiatus from the big screen, Andre returned to film with Pasutri Gaje and Kang Mak (From Pee Mak) in 2024. His film career continued with Kang Solah from Kang Mak x Nenek Gayung and Comic 8 Revolution: Santet K4bin3t in 2025. His filmography also includes Warkop DKI: ViRaLiN dOoOoNg..!!, released in 2026.

Meanwhile, Amanda Rigby began her acting career in the sitcom Kejar Tayang, which ran from 2009 to 2010. She later appeared in The Transmart from 2016 to 2017 before making her feature-film debut in Sara & Fei: Stadhuis Schandaal in 2018.

In the film, Amanda played Fei. Three years later, she appeared in two films directed by Anggy Umbara, I and Survive, in which she played the character Mila.

Amanda then starred as Salwa Ramadhani in Atas Nama Surga (2022). In 2024, she appeared in the horror film Marni: The Story of Wewe Gombel, playing Anissa.

In 2025, Amanda starred in Yakin Nikah as Anggi. Her filmography also lists Kita Butuh Bahagia Walau Sesaat as an unreleased film.

Based on their respective filmographies, Andre has a longer film career, with his feature-film appearances dating back to the early 2000s. Amanda entered the feature-film industry in 2018 after first becoming known through several television productions.
