TANGERANG, Jakartaweekly.com — Organizers of the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 will provide dedicated food court areas to enhance visitor comfort during the exhibition, which will take place at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, from July 30 to August 9, 2026.

In addition to showcasing the latest vehicle models and automotive technologies, GIIAS 2026 will feature two main dining zones located in the outdoor areas of Hall 2 and Hall 6. Snack and beverage stalls will also be spread throughout the walkways connecting Halls 1 to 10, allowing visitors easy access to refreshments while exploring the exhibition.

Anton Kumontoy, Daily Chairman of Gaikindo and Chairman III of the GAIKINDO Exhibition and Conference Organizing Committee, said the dining facilities are part of the organizers’ efforts to provide a more enjoyable experience for visitors.

“We believe GIIAS is not only about showcasing the latest vehicles, but also about creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for every visitor. That is why every aspect of the exhibition, including the food courts, has been carefully prepared so visitors can enjoy their time at GIIAS in comfort,” Anton said recently.

Visitors will be able to choose from a wide range of Indonesian specialties, including Balinese spicy rice, bakmi noodles, Malang-style meatballs, gudeg, kerak telor, Bandung siomay, and Madura-style duck rice.

In addition to local cuisine, the exhibition will also offer international favorites such as dim sum, burgers, kebabs, as well as a selection of desserts and coffee.

Anton added that the food court is designed not only as a place for visitors to take a break, but also as a gathering space where families, automotive communities, and industry professionals can meet and interact throughout the event.

Beyond visitor amenities, GIIAS 2026 continues to receive support from a number of partners. Astra Credit Companies and Toyota Astra Finance have returned as Platinum Financial Partners, alongside sponsors including Pertamina, PLN Mobile, OLXmobbi, GT Radial, Astra Honda Motor, Astra Otoparts, Le Minerale, Teh Pucuk Harum, Kahf, Gojek, and several other companies.

Following the BSD City exhibition, the GIIAS The Series 2026 roadshow will continue in four other cities: Surabaya from August 26–30, Bandung from September 9–13, Semarang from September 30 to October 4, and Makassar from October 28 to November 1, 2026.

Anton also announced the addition of a new destination to the exhibition series. GIIAS Bali is scheduled to take place from January 27–31, 2027, at The Meru Sanur, marking the expansion of the automotive exhibition into eastern Indonesia.
