JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com–Hitachi Vantara has officially introduced the Virtual Storage Platform One (VSP One) Block High End in Indonesia to support enterprise data infrastructure needs, including mission-critical applications, real-time analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads.
The all-flash NVMe storage solution can deliver up to 50 million input/output operations per second (IOPS). The platform also features data protection capabilities, including immutable snapshots and AI-powered ransomware detection, designed to help companies maintain data integrity and accelerate recovery in the event of disruptions.
The VSP One Block High End was first introduced globally in November 2025. In Indonesia, the solution is available through Hitachi Vantara and its partner network.
Ming Sunadi, Country Managing Director of Hitachi Vantara Indonesia, said demand for infrastructure capable of keeping critical services continuously available is growing alongside the expansion of the digital economy and the adoption of AI.
“Indonesia’s digital economy is increasingly dependent on services that need to remain continuously available, from financial transactions and customer-facing platforms to rapidly evolving AI applications. With the introduction of VSP One Block High End in Indonesia, companies have an option to modernize the infrastructure supporting these services while strengthening operational resilience,” Ming said.
The VSP One Block High End uses an all-flash NVMe architecture designed to support enterprise databases, transaction processing systems, real-time analytics and AI workloads.
The platform also features hardware-based compression acceleration and adaptive data reduction to maintain performance when handling demanding computing workloads.
Beyond performance, Hitachi Vantara has equipped the platform with several capabilities designed to strengthen data resilience against cyber threats.
The VSP One Block High End supports immutable snapshots and automated recovery. The platform can also be integrated with Ransomware Detection, powered by CyberSense, an optional subscription service that uses AI to detect anomalies and identify signs of ransomware-related data corruption.
CyberSense can also help identify the nearest recovery point from a clean snapshot, enabling companies to restore trusted copies of their data following a disruption.
The platform features FIPS 140-3 Level 2-certified protection and is designed to support continuous operations for mission-critical workloads.
Hitachi Vantara is also offering VSP 360, an integrated management software platform that enables companies to centrally manage their data infrastructure.
VSP 360 combines management of open systems and mainframe environments within a unified infrastructure. It also provides automation and AI-assisted infrastructure monitoring.
Sony Chahyadi, Enterprise Solutions Consultant Lead at Hitachi Vantara Indonesia, said infrastructure modernization involves more than simply adding capacity, as companies also need to maintain performance and ensure rapid data recovery.

Companies need reliable performance to support diverse computing requirements, simpler management across open systems and mainframe environments, and the ability to recover data quickly and accurately when disruptions occur,” Sony said.
According to Sony, VSP One Block High End brings these capabilities together in a single all-flash NVMe platform.
The launch comes as demand for AI and data-processing infrastructure continues to grow in Indonesia. The government is also finalizing a draft presidential regulation on the National AI Roadmap 2026–2029 and AI ethics.
Meanwhile, Bank Indonesia reported that digital payment transactions reached 5.50 billion transactions in July 2026, up 28.69% year-on-year.
Hitachi Vantara said the growth underscores the increasing importance of data infrastructure capable of maintaining the availability and reliability of digital services while supporting emerging computing requirements such as AI and analytics.
