Kuy Studios and Aktina Film Release Official Trailer & Poster Kupeluk Kamu Selamanya

JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com – Kuy Studios and Aktina Film have released the official trailer and poster for Kupeluk Kamu Selamanya, offering a glimpse into a family drama that explores the emotional and ethical complexities of divorced parents.

In the official trailer, Hana Malasan portrays Naya, a single mother who fights tirelessly for her child, Aksa, played by Jared Ali. Meanwhile, Bagaskara, portrayed by Ibnu Jamil, seeks to obtain custody of Aksa.

Amid the ongoing custody battle between Naya and Bagaskara, both divorced parents strive to remain present for Aksa, who is also battling a serious illness.

The official poster for Kupeluk Kamu Selamanya highlights a warm and meaningful embrace. It conveys the message that a mother is allowed to show vulnerability and needs support from fellow parents.

This film marks the big-screen debut of Kuy Studios. It is produced by Dara Dwitanti alongside actress Dinda Hauw, who also makes her debut as a producer. The film is directed by Pritagita Arianegara and represents the first collaboration between Sean Gelael and Angga Dwimas Sasongko as executive producers.

In addition to Hana Malasan, Ibnu Jamil, and Jared Ali, the film also stars Fanny Ghassani, Nissy Meinard, Iyas Lawrence, Vonny Anggraini, Mario Irwinsyah, Yurike Prastika, and Leroy Osmani.

Producer Dinda Hauw said the film is highly relevant to the realities faced by many single mothers who must sacrifice everything for their children.

“This film also aims to highlight how children can sometimes become victims of adult ego, and serves as a reflection on the role of parents in giving unconditional love to their children,” Dinda said in a press release on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

Meanwhile, director Pritagita Arianegara noted that the film also explores themes of loss and memory.

“While directing this film, I was truly amazed by young actor Jared Ali. The way he was able to help his adult co-stars convey the emotional weight of the story was remarkable. For me, that’s not easy, but he succeeded, and this film will be very emotional for audiences,” she said.

Actress Hana Malasan, who plays a single mother for the first time in a drama, admitted that the role of Naya presented a new challenge. Previously, she was better known for her roles in action and horror films.

Hana said this was the first time she faced a significant emotional challenge in acting, which felt more demanding than the action scenes in her previous projects.

“I’m not a mother myself yet. But I grew up surrounded by mothers, and I was raised by one. So, for the role of Naya, I found references everywhere—one of them being my own mother. It really made me reflect on the strength of a mother’s struggle, and how mothers are often expected to be perfect, sometimes even by their own children,” she said.

Meanwhile, Ibnu Jamil emphasized that the film does not seek to judge any character or present a clear antagonist.

“This is a portrayal of life where the situation is what creates conflict—not that the characters are inherently bad. I hope that after watching this film, audiences can become more empathetic toward those closest to them, less selfish, and more understanding of others,” he said.
