JAKARTA — Jakartaweekly.com. PT Prismalink International (Plink) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the digital transformation of Indonesia’s Islamic philanthropy sector through a strategic collaboration with CIMB Niaga Syariah and iBantu.co.
The partnership was highlighted during the LAZ Gathering & Award 2026 event held on April 29, serving as an important milestone in strengthening cross-sector collaboration to build a more transparent, secure, and standardized digital zakat ecosystem in Indonesia.
Under the collaboration, Plink acts as the payment gateway provider and transaction infrastructure partner supporting the entire end-to-end payment process on the iBantu platform. Its services cover fund collection through multiple payment channels, real-time transaction notifications, settlement, reporting, and reconciliation.
According to Stefanus Kurnia Suryaputra, the initiative represents a strategic step toward strengthening payment systems within Indonesia’s growing digital zakat ecosystem.
“Plink serves as a payment infrastructure partner that ensures all processes run securely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards, allowing Zakat Management Organizations (LAZ) to focus more on their social mission,” Stefanus said.
Plink sees significant growth potential in Indonesia’s digital zakat and Islamic finance sectors. The company believes that secure, efficient, and accessible payment systems are essential for expanding financial inclusion and making it easier for people to contribute zakat transparently and effectively.
To support this objective, Plink implements industry-standard security measures, including continuous transaction monitoring, fraud screening, and comprehensive transaction recordkeeping. Transparent reporting systems and clear audit trails are also designed to enhance accountability and stakeholder trust.
Meanwhile, CIMB Niaga Syariah emphasized that developing a credible digital zakat ecosystem requires collaboration across different areas of expertise.
Pandji P. Djajanegara, Syariah Banking Director of PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, said the synergy between financial institutions, technology platforms, and payment infrastructure providers is key to the initiative’s success.
“No single institution can solve the challenges of the digital zakat ecosystem on its own,” Pandji said.
“iBantu provides a blockchain-based platform for managing zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) funds, ensuring transparency and traceability, while Plink ensures that all transactions are secure and compliant with regulations. He added that the initiative forms part of CIMB Niaga Syariah’s Technology Partnership for Social Banking approach, which focuses on leveraging technology to create sustainable social impact.
The LAZ Gathering & Award 2026 was organized as a strategic forum with three key objectives: strengthening institutional collaboration, recognizing Zakat Management Organizations that have contributed to the growth of digital ZIS transactions, and reaffirming long-term commitments to developing a national digital zakat ecosystem.
“Through this collaboration, we hope that LAZ institutions can focus entirely on delivering social impact, while technology and financial infrastructure work seamlessly behind the scenes to support their mission,” Pandji concluded.
