49 Ministerial Candidates Meeting with President-Elect Prabowo

President-elect Prabowo Subianto’s residence on Kertanegara Street in South Jakarta

President-elect Prabowo Subianto summoned several figures to his residence in Kertanegara, South Jakarta, today, Monday (October 14, 2024). It was observed that 49 people met with Prabowo today, from noon until the evening.

Some of them are familiar faces who served as ministers in the cabinet of President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma’ruf Amin. There were also other notable figures and political party members.

Some openly shared the outcomes of their meeting with Prabowo, while others were more reserved. After meeting with his prospective ministers, Prabowo gave a statement to the media waiting outside his residence.

He mentioned that all the ministerial and agency head candidates he summoned agreed to help in his cabinet. He explained that today’s summoning was the culmination of a long process. Before inviting them, Prabowo and his team had conducted observations and discussions.

“Alhamdulillah, they all expressed their willingness,” Prabowo said in front of his residence on Kertanegara Street, South Jakarta, Monday (October 14, 2024). “They had actually already agreed to assist me,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Daily Chairman of Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco, said that Prabowo would continue summoning his prospective ministers tomorrow, Tuesday (October 15, 2024), after summoning 45 candidates today.

“Yes, tomorrow there will still be invitations for deputy ministers, ministers, and several agency heads,” said Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Daily Chairman of Gerindra Party, in front of Prabowo’s house on Kertanegara Street, Jakarta, Monday (October 14, 2024).
