JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com—Indonesia hikes PT incorporation and trademark registration fees starting in August 2026 under Government Regulation (PP) No. 30 of 2026, replacing the previous PP No. 45 of 2024.

The new regulation raised fees for incorporating limited liability companies (PT), amending articles of association, trademark registration, trademark renewals, and several other intellectual property services as part of the government’s updated non-tax revenue (PNBP) tariff structure.

Under the new regulation, the fee for incorporating a PT with authorized capital of more than Rp1 billion increased from Rp1.1 million to Rp1.5 million. Meanwhile, the incorporation fee for a PT with authorized capital exceeding Rp1 billion has risen significantly from Rp1.1 million to Rp5 million.

The Ministry of Law has also increased the fees for applications to amend a company’s articles of association. The fee for amendments without a change of company name has increased from Rp1 million to Rp1.1 million, while amendments involving a change of company name have risen from Rp1.1 million to Rp1.2 million.

Meanwhile, the fee for notification of amendments to the articles of association and notification of changes to company data has been standardized at Rp250,000. Previously, the fee varied depending on the company’s authorized capital.

The fee for notification of company dissolution has also increased from Rp300,000 to Rp350,000. In addition, the fee for obtaining a replacement copy of a lost company certificate or decision has risen to Rp1.1 million, while the fee for a replacement copy of a lost or damaged notification letter for amendments to the articles of association or company data has increased to Rp300,000.

Meanwhile, the incorporation fee for a PT with authorized capital of up to Rp25 million remains unchanged at Rp300,000. Likewise, the fee for incorporating a PT with authorized capital exceeding Rp25 million up to Rp1 billion remains at Rp600,000.

Trademark Registration Fees also Increase

Fees for trademark registration applications, trademark renewals, and license recordation service will also increase starting in August 2026.

For general applicants, the trademark registration application fee has increased from Rp1.8 million to Rp2.8 million.

The fee for renewing trademark protection within six months before the expiration date has increased from Rp2.25 million to Rp3.5 million. Meanwhile, applications submitted within six months after the trademark protection expires will now cost Rp7 million, up from Rp4.5 million.

In contrast, trademark registration fees for MSMEs, educational institutions, and government research and development institutions remain unchanged at Rp500,000.

Trademark renewal fees for MSMEs also remain unchanged. Applications submitted within six months before the expiration of trademark protection will continue to cost Rp1 million, while those submitted within six months after expiration will remain at Rp2 million.

Several other trademark-related service fees have also been revised upward, including:

  • Objection to a trademark application: from Rp1 million to Rp1.5 million
  • Trademark appeal application: from Rp3 million to Rp4.5 million
  • Recordation of changes to the trademark owner’s name and/or address: from Rp300,000 to Rp450,000
  • Recordation of trademark assignment (transfer of rights): from Rp700,000 to Rp1.1 million
  • Recordation of a trademark license agreement: from Rp1 million to Rp1.4 million

The revised fee structure will take effect in August 2026 and applies to a wide range of corporate and intellectual property services. While the government has maintained lower fees for micro, small, and medium-sized (MSMEs) in several trademark-related services and smaller PT incorporations, businesses outside these categories will face higher administrative costs for company establishment, corporate filings, and trademark protection under the new regulation.
