JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com—Actress Adhisty Zara has announced her marriage to Abdullah Tsaqib. The Dua Garis Biru star wore an ensemble that beautifully fused sacred traditions with a touch of modernity.
“Finally able to share this happy news that we’ve been keeping to ourselves. Starting a new chapter of life together,” the actress wrote.
In the photos she uploaded, Zara opted for a highly solemn and classic look. She wore a pristine white modern kebaya kurung, adorned with intricate lace and delicate beadwork throughout the fabric.
The high-collar cut of her kebaya exuded a modest yet elegant impression. The sacred ambiance was further enhanced by a long, sheer veil gracing her head, bordered with floral lace trim that perfectly framed her face during the prayer session with her husband.
Meanwhile, transitioning to the reception and the marriage certificate handover session, Zara stepped out of her comfort zone with a modern-traditional fusion style. She appeared in a structured white top that resembled a blend of a formal blazer and a modern beskap (traditional Javanese jacket).

The top featured a fitted silhouette with a subtle peplum flare at the hips, complete with minimalist beadwork on one side of the chest to add dimension.
For her bottoms, Zara paired the modern top with a batik skirt in soft white and silver tones. This choice successfully maintained the essence of Indonesian culture without making her look feel stiff or dated.
For the akad nikah procession, her husband wore a plain, minimalist off-white baju koko (traditional Islamic shirt) or Mandarin-collared shirt. This understated, religious look was completed with a classic Indonesian black peci (capsule-shaped cap), lending a formal yet humble impression.
Entering the reception and certificate handover, the groom changed into a sharper, more contemporary style. He wore a pristine white, slim-fit formal suit jacket with a single-button design.
The jacket was contrasted with a white shirt, a solid black tie, and jet-black formal trousers. This monochrome combination, paired with a dark wristwatch, made his appearance look exceptionally sharp, masculine, and perfectly complementary to Zara’s unique fusion style.
