TANGERANG, JakartaWeekly.com — PT Astra Otoparts Tbk has unveiled a new design for its Quantum battery brand, which targets export markets, at the 2026 Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The redesign aims to strengthen the brand’s identity and expand its reach into new countries.
Astra Otoparts Director Martogi Siahaan said Quantum had been part of the company’s export portfolio for more than 20 years. Through the redesign, the company aims to reinforce the brand’s identity while reaching more business partners and customers in export markets.
“TEI provides an opportunity for us to reintroduce Quantum to prospective distributors and agents from various countries, while also strengthening relationships with partners who have already worked with Astra Otoparts,” Martogi said in Tangerang on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
Under the theme “Quantum Battery: The Power Reimagined,” the redesign focuses on three key elements: Power, Trust, and Range, reflecting strength, reliability, and a comprehensive product selection.
The updates include a more modern battery casing, a battery condition indicator, and multilingual labels to make products easier to identify. The new packaging also features an updated Quantum logo and a hippopotamus icon that represents strength and serves as the brand’s distinctive symbol.
As one of Astra Otoparts’ battery brands for export, Quantum forms part of the company’s efforts to expand its international market reach. The company is pursuing this strategy by strengthening cooperation with business partners and distribution channels in various countries.
Quantum’s portfolio includes a range of batteries for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, tailored to the needs of individual markets.
In addition to Quantum, Astra Otoparts exports five other battery brands: Incoe, GS, Aspira, Ohayo, and Asahi. These brands form part of the company’s battery portfolio offered to business partners in various countries.
Astra Otoparts’ export products currently reach more than 50 countries across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and South America.
Alongside its market expansion efforts, Astra Otoparts’ export revenue from its trading business increased by 7.8% in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period a year earlier.
In addition to unveiling the latest Quantum design, Astra Otoparts is showcasing a range of other export products at TEI 2026, including batteries, tires, and various spare parts. These products are marketed under the Quantum, Aspira, Incoe, GS, and Ulti-X brands.
The products are on display at Astra Otoparts’ booth in Hall 6.
Astra Otoparts’ participation in TEI 2026 also includes business meetings with partners from various countries and the signing of memoranda of understanding with the embassies of the United Arab Emirates and Bolivia.
These activities form part of the company’s efforts to strengthen relationships with business partners, explore cooperation opportunities, expand its distributor and agent networks, and develop sales channels in both new markets and countries where it already operates.
