JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com – PT Solusi Sentral Sistem, the owner of Japanese water heater and sanitary brand Danko, in collaboration with Cahaya Berkat Sanitary, has opened its first showroom in Indonesia, located in Cibubur, Jakarta.

Martinus Jono, Marketing Director of Danko Indonesia, said the opening of the official showroom was driven by the continuous growth of the household appliances industry.

Currently, the water heater and kitchen sink market in Indonesia remains highly promising. Danko, which currently holds around 5% market share, still sees significant room for expansion in the remaining 95% of the market.

In addition, the opening of the official showroom is part of the company’s effort to expand into the offline market. After becoming one of the best-selling brands in the online market, Danko is now aiming to strengthen its presence in offline retail.

“Our online sales have been the best-selling for four consecutive years. We have a strong desire to develop the offline market because we understand that we cannot rely solely on the online market,” he said in Jakarta on Monday, May 18, 2026.

He added that this showroom will not be the first and last. The company plans to open two more showrooms in Jakarta in the near future. Afterward, management intends to expand further into major cities such as Bandung, Surabaya, and Bali.

Alongside the expansion, the company is targeting sales growth of 300%–400% by the end of the year.

On the same occasion, Cahaya Berkat Sanitary owner Fendy revealed that the reason for partnering with PT Solusi Sentral Sistem to open the Danko Pro Shop showroom was the quality of the products.

“We confidently sell Danko because the prices are affordable, yet the products are truly high quality,” he said.

Danko Pro Shop Cibubur

Meanwhile, the decision to choose Cibubur as the first location for the Danko Pro Shop showroom was not without reason. Jono explained that management sees strong growth in the property and residential sectors in the Cibubur area.

“Cibubur was selected as the location for the first Danko Pro Shop showroom because it has enormous market potential. The area is rapidly developing as a new residential hub and serves as a strategic point between East Jakarta and Bekasi, West Java,” he said.

The showroom is also expected to make it easier for consumers, particularly those in the Cibubur area and surrounding regions, to access Danko products directly.

“We believe the benefits of Danko products can be better experienced when consumers try them firsthand. Through the Danko Pro Shop Showroom, we want customers to truly experience how Danko’s technology can make their lives easier and more comfortable,” he added.

The Danko Pro Shop Cibubur showroom has a sales area of 67.5 square meters. The opening is part of the company’s strategy to move closer to consumers in East Jakarta and nearby areas.

The showroom features a range of flagship products, including electric water heaters, gas water heaters, kitchen sinks, pull-out faucets, and various other sanitary products. Danko water heaters are available in capacities ranging from 10 liters to 80 liters, with the 15-liter model (200 watts) and 30-liter model (300 watts) being the most popular.

Meanwhile, Danko Kitchen Sink is a premium Japanese sink line known for its smart technology and luxurious design. Its flagship product is the five-function piano button sink series featuring fully automatic functions.

“During the grand opening period, Danko management is also offering a special program that provides free installation for consumers purchasing Danko Water Heaters,” he explained.
