Indonesia Urges Citizens to Remain Vigilant Amid Evolving Situation in the Middle East

Jakartaweekly.com – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Directorate for the Protection of Indonesian Citizens (PWNI) and Indonesian Representatives across the Middle East region, continues to maintain intensive communication and coordination with Indonesian citizens (WNI) within their respective areas of jurisdiction.

Indonesian Representatives have urged all Indonesian citizens in affected areas to remain calm, increase vigilance, follow instructions from local authorities, and maintain regular communication with the nearest Indonesian Representative office. This advisory also applies to Indonesian citizens experiencing travel disruptions due to the evolving situation in the Middle East.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also advises Indonesians planning to travel through or transit in the Middle East region to reconsider their travel plans and postpone their trips until the situation becomes more conducive.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with all Indonesian Representatives in the region, will continue to closely monitor developments and conduct comprehensive assessments of the security dynamics, on-the-ground conditions, as well as ongoing and planned response measures in addressing the evolving situation.
